no any status update for a visitor visa

HI,
I am from Nepal and currently living in Finland and i have applied a visitor visa for canada on 28th of may 2015 and it has been 14 days ..i haven't got any updates from the CIC.Can anyone help me why this happens?

The processing times posted on the CIC site are averages and actual processing times vary from application to application. It can sometimes take two months before you hear an answer. Generally it takes longer for a visitor visa to be processed if you are applying from a country where you only have temporary residency (rather than citizenship or permanent residency). What you are experiencing is perfectly normal. It's entirely possible that it will be several more weeks before you hear anything.

The visa application status says open from the day one and hasn't changed yet.Does it remain the same until the decision has made? How can i know if my the visa application process has started or not?

It has been started otherwise it doesn't say "Open" Don`t worry I am inside canada and it took 3 months

I applied from Kathmandu, our visa office is New Delhi. they say 7 working days to process. I guess they will dispatch my passport today. Its much easier and faster to apply from Kathmandu.
