Nikah Only Cases! Lets Share our timelines! 2013-2014

Asalamalakym Everyone! Ramzaan Mubarak!! I see there are a lot of us who are in the Nikah only boat! Lets share our timelines and help each other out to get our spouses here. In shaa Allah!

Oct 2013 - Submitted
Nov. 2013- Received Eligibility letter
Nov. 2013 - Application sent to Islamabad
July, 2014 - Application sent to London Office

Hi there , I see that you are having an interview. Is this because it was nikkAh only case ? I also applied as nikkAh only case back in May 2014 and we got AOR in July. Our rukhsati and walima took place in January 2015 and we have sent the additional documents such as wedding pix etc to lvo voluntarily last week. Do u think we will be treated as nikkAh only case ? U mentioned that u were marrying in January 2015. Still they called u for interview ? Did u guys sent them additional proofs such as wedding pic after rukhsati ?

Hello! Yes we did send them additional proofs... Then 3 weeks later they called us for an interview. They probably just have questions in regards to rukhsati and valeema.

I don't think they will treat you like a Nikah only case as you voluntarily sent them proof. We received the rukhsati letter, so my guess is that they just need to clarify things, as they asked us to bring pictures of rukhsati to the interview.

I was nikah only case too and i was also asked for interview back in May2014 ,then i asked them to rescedual my interview ,mean while we did our rukhsati in aug 2014 ,
The reason to do the rukhsati was that in interviews of nikah only case they ask u to get the rukhsati done and provide them with proofs which is very risky
So later in sep 2014 i was given 30 days to prove my relationship n send them proofs of on going relationship
So if you have already provided with rukhsati proof ,now ur in safe zone,probably in interview they just want to make sure ..

Yeah that is all they asked from me.....

Like in the interview letter they asked me to bring pictures of my wedding, as well as additional pictures of departure with the Quran. We have lots of pictures. With a lot of people visible. Our nikah was really small that is the reason they doubted us in the first place. We did all the rasams, have proof of everything. So whatever they want to ask we are ready to answer. I have trust in Allah. We are all honest people. May Allah bless all our spouses with visa's and ultimate happiness with our spouses. Ameen!

Yes exactly same timeline
InshaAllah ur visa will be issued at the time of interview
My interview was waived .i submitted my passport on 27 feb.
