Good morning people.

I have a fixed deposit of 2M which was opened at the start of October and i got my MR on October 28. I want to use the FD Certificate as my POF which will be more than the C$11,824 needed for a single applicant.

So my question is this. Will i still need to include any other financial documentation or additional information like statements from my savings account etc or will the FD certificate/statement be enough?

Secondly, is it necessary to update AVO about a change of job at this stage? Was thinking of doing that while sending the documents they requested with my MR request.

You don't need any other financial documentation

I do not think you have to tell them of any change of job at this point. In thesame vein, it will not stop things if you intimate them of it. Were you asked to update POF? It was a cool idea that you did the fixed deposit stuff before your MR landed. You can add others to it to boost your chances.They would have felt that you went to source for it to meet up. You can send it.

Glory be to God !

The second line on my e-cas just appeared today, this morning. The 'medicals result have been received' has now moved to the third line. It now reads as follows;

1.We received your application for permanent residence on September 6, 2013.

2.We started processing your application on October 28, 2014.

3.Medical results have been received

Though I'm yet to receive the PPR mail.

For the seniors, how long does it take to receive PPR mail after the second line of 'we started processing your application on xxxx' appears on e-cas?

Thanks.

Cheers,
Kit01

Hello house, it seems that AVO is silent on your application
I still believe that we must hear from them before the day is over
No matter the slowness in AVO. They will attend to all before this year is over. The express 2015 is at hand, the fswp 2014 is still there for them. It will get to a time the pressure will mount on them. They will have no chioce but to speed up like jet. So if no update yet, just relax. We have done ur part, they have to do theirs. So MR PPR COPR will soon come
