i really cannot understand what happened today but here is the breakdown. was on my way to send the additional documents that were requested during MR when i got an email from AVO that i should send my passport along with 2 passport photos and IMM8 within 15 days. my first reaction was 'HA! SCAM!!!'. then i looked at the sender address and read the content again...i kept asking reminding myself, i did the medicals less than 2 weeks ago. i haven't even sent the requested documents. How come?
I went back home to get the requested items, printed a copy of the email as requested by the visa officer. sent both to AVO in separate envelopes accompanied with cover letters.
I still cannot come to terms with the whole thing. this isn't the way i thought they did their work.
All in All as a Naija guy, Na the end be the koko!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congrats.
Cheers.

Still on the spreadsheet. Just an observation and suggestion. Kollins please could you change the colour code on Phine_ay's name from red to something else. Maybe light blue. Red signifies danger or something wrong/bad and whenever I open the sheet and see it, my first impression is that something wrong has happened with his application until my brain resets..lol.. Just a suggestion though.

Many congrats to you Rohan.

And for us waiting for the gift of MR, let's keep the faith. Fingers crossed we'll get a response this week starting from today.

Rahoan what was the requested document Accra asked you for?

fill a form at the end of the mail (colour of eyes, height and dob), 2 passport photos, intl. passport and IMM8

Pls, someone needs your advice on the issue below;

When the medical mail came, I was asked to fill the forms;
- Updated IMM 5669- Schedule A for you and your spouse listing all personal and address history from the age of 18.
Ensure that you both answer question 6(d) accurately and use the box at the bottom for your explanation.
Someone was denied visa by the US embassy before he applied for FSWP. When he was filled the form he answered “NO” to the question because he just read the question in a hurry. Now CIC said he should fill the form and answer the question accurately and it was highlighted in red font. What do you think?

The question;
6(d)Have you been refused refugee status, an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de selection du Quebec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial Nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country?
Suggestions please…………….

Hi,

Uness i am wrong, the usual visitor's visa is a NON-IMMIGRANT VISA (NIV) and not an immigrant visa (IV).

So i dont think you did anything amiss in stating 'No'. Unless the visa type you applied for at the US consulate was an immigrant fine; you dont have any issues.

Hope this helps.

ERROR! ERROR!! ERROR!! The question is have you been refused visa before either Canada, US etc.. Read the question again. "Have you been refused refugee status, an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de selection du Quebec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial Nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country?" So if you know whats good for you, kindly say YES and give the reason. I stated Yes in my application and gave the reason for the refusal.

Please seniors, where can I do medicals in Abuja and what are their charges and is it a reliable place and are they emedical enabled?pls reply?

Pls the question refers to all visa types o.pls let him say YES and explain giving date of refusals and other details

He has to say YES. Thats being truthful and avoiding misrepresentation which usually attracts a 2 year ban.

It is clearly stated (highlighted in red) or visit visa. So he needs to say yes as this may affect him later. It doesn't matter what the reason for refusal is. He has to be truthful about it.

There are only 5 approved hospitals doing medicals for Canadian immigration as can be seen from CIC database.
Three (3) are located in Lagos
One(1) in Port Harcourt
One (1) in Abuja.

Realistically,you don't really have any choice of hospitals in Abuja than the listed hospital.
I will advice you to call their line and make enquiry on the e-medical stuffs.
I want to believe that all the CIC hospitals in Nigeria are electronically enabled but its good to call them to confirm their status.
Please find below their address and details contact.............

One good question for you...(I may have overlooked info about you)...are you FSW2013/2014 applicant with Accra visa office?
Have you also got your medical request?
Pardon me for my request
Cheers.
