I'm sure ur MR is coming in today. There is still time cos we r 1 hour ahead of ghana which gives us about 2 hours more to receive ur MR(ghana time) before AVO closes for the day. Stay glued to ur mail. U will have 'independence surprise gift' today!
Though it tarries, it will surely come.
Keep refreshing ur mail and always check ur spam folder.

I want to advice those that have received their MR without POF request, that they should still build and have the required POF in place for their family size.
We have enough experience and cases from our seniors where some were not asked for POF update at the point of MR but were asked when they were about to be issued PPR and AVO could even ask that the POF should be produced in less time, say 2 weeks. This cld put enormous pressure on applicants that do not have the funds in place at the time of request and with a lot of explanations to do as to how you came about it within a very short time.
So until passports are requested and returned with PRV and COPR don't deplete ur accounts!
God help us in Jesus name. Amen.

We have 60 days to submit our documents. No POF request, just the same forms and PCC stuff.
Can someone please provide the name of someone that can help with the PCC. Also, does anyone have experience with getting PCC from the UK?

Nice people. See below excerpt of mail I got from AVO today:

This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

Subsection 16(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act states that a person who makes an application must answer truthfully all questions put to them for the purpose of the examination and must produce a visa and all relevant evidence and documents that the officer reasonably requires. In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following:


- Medical examination for the entire family. Medical forms will be sent to you via email tomorrow.
- Proof of funds
- Updated police clearance certificates for you and your spouse.
- Right of Permanent Residence Fee for you and your spouse.
- Updated IMM 5406- Additional Family Information for you and your spouse.
- Updated IMM 5669- Schedule A for you and your spouse listing all personal and address history from the age of 18.

You have 60 days from the date of this letter to submit additional information so that we may continue processing your application. I am to update my{police certificate for myself and my wife, POF,RPRF and IMM 5669) I was also given 60 days to respond. To those that were given 30days to respond, what time line did the VO give for a revisit of your files (same 30days or 60)
