Hi everyone, I would like to know your 2 cents on this. If someone is thinking of getting married, would it be a wise decision to wait until his application is been processed and medical requested, before informing the visa office that his status has changed...or could he just go ahead and get married and then send the information and documents while his application in still in cue. Also would they need an updated financial statements and would they request for the spouse's school documents and WES approved transcripts?...Ive already acquired the necessary points based on my information...Please let me know what you think. Thanks.

Hello AVO applicants, I saw this extract and thought I should share with you guys. This further confirms the comments from VO in Abu Dharbi (after interview for London applicants) to process applications within 1 year. I hope AVO is aware.

Note: Applications are date stamped upon receipt at the CIO and then checked for completeness
in order by date of receipt. The “application received” date at the CIO is the lock-in date.
Processing offices should therefore maintain the application received date from the time of the
applicant's initial submission to the CIO, and process the application to conclusion.
