For IELTS,

What are the language requirements for Federal Skilled Workers Program applicants?
You must include the original results of an English or French language test with your application. It must be a third-party language test from an agency approved by CIC.

This rule applies to all federal skilled worker applications received on or after June 26, 2010.

You must also show that you meet the minimum language threshold in order to qualify for the program.

Your test results must not be more than two years old on the day we get your application.

For Police Clearance Certificate, they will usually tell us to submit a current document at either the MR or the PPR stage ...

Thanks Thebaft....its clearer now

No worries ... The day CIC receives your application is popularly known as your lock-in date.

To my fellow waiting club members, I have some information that may cheer us up as all we sit in this wonderful Waitmobile.

I read about a forum member in the NIGERIA APPLICANT PLEASE LET US NETWORK thread who recently received an MR (today, actually). The member's timeline shows an application submission date of 20 April 2012 and an AOR receipt date of 28 April 2012.

I also came across this link, (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/notices/notice-fsw.asp) which states that the CAP for 2011 FSW application submission (2011-2012) period i.e. MI-3 came to an end on May 8 2012.

If our applications are enqueued, this should mean that the Accra Visa Office has almost come to the end of the Selection Decision processing for MI-3 applicants. Of course, there will surely be some qualified FSW applicants with job offers that submitted after May 8 2012, but they might not be as many as those required under the CAP.

So let's cross our fingers and await... The patient Dog eats the fattest Canadian Bone ... ;D ;D ;D

This is a welcome development. I'm having the feeling that they will keep to their promise of processing our applications within a year. All the best.

How possible was that? Just 8days to get AOR?

I guess that if your application is received closer to the deadline, then your application will likely be processed faster (less demanding NOCs) and you'll probably get your AOR/PER quicker.

I think the job description matters most as my job title is Food inspector and ve a certification in food processing and safety.its a tricky one as am not sure any university in naija offers any course directly related to this noc but not to worry dear, u ll be fine if ur job description matches wat they ve under d noc. Pls others can also share their opinion abt dis

Thanks. The job title I applied with is quality assurance supervisor but the description match well. I also have another job experience but put it under another NOC but the job descriptions also match well with that of NOC 2263. Am tinking I should have added it up with the first one under the same NOC 2263 but all well n good, the one I used still qualify under NOC 2263
