Thanks floxy for sharing this•Have you heard from accra•Please is your work experience thesame as your education field
No I haven't heard from Accra. I mailed cic and it was confirmed my file is at Accra. Being a first time applicant I really don't know how to handle it as I need to send some docs to update my file. It seem Accra doesn't like one knowing the workings around ones file.
For your second question, yes my work and studies are directly related.
Please why did you ask?

Ok!I asked because some people say it must match while others who have even obtained PR Visa say it is not a must in as much as you have been involve in an occupation that is part of the advertised ones for more than a year.

Hi All,

I recently applied under NOC1112 due to delay in obtaining ECA report. Application submitted June 27, 2013 but received July 3,2013 by Dexter.

Floxy,
how did you get your ECA so early that makes it possible for you to apply that in may? Did you graduated from any of Nigerian Universities? What mode of payment did you adopt because i noticed that you are a 1st timer?

I believe people like me (July applicant) should be hopeful our application will be accepted bearing no issue as 1st timer.

Dear all,

I'm a new member of this great community of hopefuls. I sent my wife's FSW application (via UPS) to CIC for NOC 1112 and it was received in Nova Scotia on 25th July, 2013. Fees payment was by DD.

Please who knows the average response time for them to revert to us?

What should we be looking forward to at this point? I really dont understand some of the terms in use here like PER, ECA and co.

Hoping on a response soon from you great minds, God bless.

Hi from both experiences you have related it will only take God`s supernatural miracle to make the NOC 1112 cap•Going by todays update they have capped 292 for that NOC•Even those that applied as early as 31st May and 1st week in June are calling for information on their package•PER is positive eligibility review•ECA is education comparative agency•VO is via office or visa officer•AOR is acknowledgement of receipt•MR is medical request•BGC is background check•PCC is police character certificate•CC is credit card•Thanks

I Didn't apply early. Application opened May4th and I submitted May15. That's like 10days gap. I graduated from a Nigeria university. I started processing transcripts as early as February and did my first ECA in March. I only requested for upgrade in May5th. Anyway that's what I did and several others too I suppose

I guess Accra doesn't send AoR as a first line of communication. I only received from them a reply to my mail which confirms they now have my file. If you have mailed them, you should get same in 2 business days.

Dear Floxzy
