EVERYONE HAVE A RIGHT TO RAISE CSE.
I can understand why people are shy to raise a CSE but in my opinion there is no need to be reluctant in raising one for so many reasons reasons. a few of them are :
1.) We were all promised that our applications will be processed within a few months rather than a few years it normally takes due to the ECA certificate, IELTS etc.
2.) they will not witchhunt anyone for doing so, this may be expected in Africa but not in first world countries (high commissions).
3.) raising a CSE can only help you remind them in case they are reluctant it cannot have a reverse effect. the worst case is that they will ignore but you have scored a point that you are expecting a response concerning your application.
4.) Backlogs excuses is insufficient because they knew they had it before saying that 2013 application will be concluded within a year.
5.) A CSE actually is like a memo to them so it should not be seen as if you are bothering them, neither does it have to sound arrogant, impolite, harsh, uncultured, disrespectful, etc. It simply simply expected to be official whether it is enquiries or additional document or update.
6.) I believe anyone that applied for six months or more in 2013 stream can raise a cse to know the state of his/her application. It does not have to be collectively done but even if that is so, there is no problem.
7.) NDVO has issued over a hundred visas in this same stream while CPPO have also issued reasonable number. Therefore AVO applicants do not have to be affraid to raise a CSE. remember you all paid same application fees and in the same stream.
Dear friend if you want to raise a CSE, raise it and dont let anyone discourage you. not even the seniors because obviously their MI was didfferent, you simply want to know WHAT IS GOING ON WITH YOUR APPLICATION. Even if you eventually get a generic response its better than letting someone discourage you from asking valid questions in an official and polite maner.
Thank you.
