Egbe is very correct. No person or organisation have the power to request to see your bank details and this includes all embassies. All they can do is send POF document that you forwarded to them to the issuing bank to confirm if it actually came from them. That's the most they can do. Only the Police can request such information if there is an investigation going on that requires such information. The embassy will receive a reply from the bank confirming whether or not, they issued the document that they sent for verification. At this point, it is left to tue embassy to request for additional POF from us if they need to maybe because the former POF is now old or maybe for people that just sent bank balance and not statements. Even at that, the new POF that will be sent will only be verified the same way as the first. Again, nobody can check your bank balance.

My concern is they might have a way of checking probably (back door) if not good for us. But am sure before visa is issued the said amount will be made as draft or transferred. However our senior that gone through should help us out.

Like they have told u, no one has the right to ask your bank for the exact amount in your account. Cic can only verify from the bank if the account actually belongs to u or not. They can't do any back door practice. Banks have got their banking policies. Cic can only query any large deposits in your account based on the bank statement u submitted and may want u to provide source of the money.

Good Morning house, please i need to where this stand, my application was received on the 27th of Dec and my card was debited 3weeks later but i did not receive a PER mail and neither NER, i wrote to cic 2wice and after 20 working days i got a mail with my file number saying they are reviewing my file.

Well i went on to eCAS with my file number and i found out it is in process with my full info stated... Does that mean my file as being transferred to my VO or still at cic?
