And this phase of our journey to Canada came to a positive end today, we picked up our passports and CPR this morning. All glory to Almighty God, and to all those expectant members ,may you get positive news from AVO soonest IJN.

Pick up mail came last thursday 19/03/2015
Visa was Issued- 12/03/2015

However there is an issue , I noticed that my baby's United States passport didn't have a visa stamped in it. Is this normal as US citizens don't need a visa to enter Canada or its an omission and I should notify Accra ASAP? Please anyone with experience should provide us with a swift response so we can act swiftly.

Is there anything one can do other than wait?i am attending a training next week Tuesday and my visa is on the PP?Please help anyone..someone :'(

I tried to respond to your PM but your inbox is filled up and so could not receive it.
Even though a gentle reminder is fine,it should be treated with care especially if you are sending it with no realistic reason other than reminding them.
14 days is not much of a gap to be worried about if you are yet to get a response from Accra.if not for the training you want to attend,I will say 2 weeks is just too fast for you to get panicked for not receiving passports pick-up mail.....yes too fast if not for your training.
80% of applicants gets their passports pick up mail between 3rd and 4th week of passports received....some have gotten it around 6 to 8 weeks.
What I would have expected you to do(even though its late now) while submitting passports to them is to write a cover letter to AVO explaining the fact that you have training on the date you said while including evidence/documents that shows that you have been booked for an international training...they will surely processed it and return to you.
Even its almost late now as I'm not sure you can get the passport before next week Tuesday even if you receive pick-up mails this weekend unless you fly to Accra and ask the DHL to handpick it for you same day.
I really do not know the urgency of the training or if it can be postponed since your passport may not be in your hand by Tuesday.If it can be postponed,then you may have to send gentle mail to Accra and include reasons and evidences/documents with reference to the training you want to go to warrant why you want them to fastrack the return of your passports.
I forgot to ask if you have decision made noticed on your ECAS already or its not yet updated?

I don't think it will be an issue. all you need do is to mention it at the interview and present supporting documents. our seniors here can help you with more information

House please i need your advice, while trying to put everything in place for the interview. I had to stop my salary job about 16 months ago to fully concentrate on my master degree program, just graduated few months ago... the problem here is that Avo said we should provide payslip for the past one year, while i was studying i started something for myself which shows a good record on my statement of account (An Interior decor coy) sure i can't provide a payslip for this and also i am more concerned if this would not be a problem as to work duties compared to my former job and my NOC. please what do you advice?
