[size=10pt]A column (Landed date) has just been introduced between the "Visa Issued Date" columns and "Requested forms" on the SS.
Hopefully for any willing landed applicant,we intend to note down the date of entry to Canada.
Non willing applicants will not be be coerced into giving such details.
Many thanks to this column suggestion from a well respected friend.

Cheers.

Hey guys.

I have a deep concern. I may be running out of time for the deadline. My school (believe it or not a UK university) delayed my transcript getting to WES on time. They have finally sent it to WES and WES has given an approximate completion time of 8th Dec 2014.

My concern is if I can be able to send the application on time and it be recieved before the January deadline?

Do Nigerian Applicants still send to Ghana Office?

From your experience how long does it normally take to get a response or a knowledgement?

Thank y'all.
Don't worry about the date WES gave you....I'm quite optimistic that it will be completed within a fortnight...you may even get in about 2 weeks if you have chosen and paid for international courier.
If this is the only thing delaying you,I'm quite sure you can submit within one of the receipt of your ECA from WES.
All applicants globally send to CIC address in Canada fro the pre-processing.Its after you have succeeded in that huddle that your package will be transferred to your local visa office(Accra) to finish the processing and issuance of the VISA and COPR.
The interval of getting response now is getting shorter...but I don't want you to bother yourself about it before submission.
After you have submitted, you can now be bothered about the stuffs.
Cheers.

Hello House,

Please my friend needs your help. She is not on this forum and love how we share ideas and information here. Kindly find below her question.

Please help me!! When we initially applied for FSW, in the background declaration form (schedule) i mistakely filled NO to this question "have you or any of your family member been refused admission to, or ordered to leave canada or any other country?". It was now that we are refilling the form for the requested additional information after our medicals that i remembered that my husband was denied UK visa in 2009 (please note that after the denial, he got both france and usa visa the subsequent years) and i didn't indicate it in the original form. I want to update the schedule A form for me and my husband to reflect his UK visa denial. please do you people think that this will affect our application further as I DO NOT INTEND TO GIVE FALSE INFORMATION initially. Do you think they will think that i lied to them? Although i believe that the reason why they resquest for additional document is to correct for any initial mistake. Please what do you all think? Please our seniors make una help as well :( :'(

Hello Anaviv,
Please take a second look at the question again ''been refused admission to, or ordered to leave canada or any other country'' doesnt necessarily mean ''refused a visa''...as you may have been granted a visa but still refused admission into a country which may be as a result of the fact that the immigration officer at the airport was not satisfied or convinced regarding the reasons given to him for your visit during the brief interview at the airport of your destination...or as a result of many other reasons (suspected bla bla...etc)

My intention is not to confuse you...but rather to interpret the statement differently. However, I guess the advice from our fellow seniors above is the way to go.

Best of luck!

What you are quoting is question 6(e). Read through question 6(d).

Hello,
I have read through both 6(e) and 6(d), however, I was only responding to his friend's query...which was regarding "have you or any of your family member been refused admission to, or ordered to leave canada or any other country?''...not, ''refused a visa''.

If however, he indicated ''YES'' for 6(d) which referred to visa refusal...then a ''NO'' as his response for 6 (e) which is referring to ''refused admission to...'' {as long as you were not denied entry upon arriving at the airport}...then, my guess is he/she should be fine.

I stand to be corrected though!

Cheers!

It does actually include visa, you did not finish the question which includes apart about whether it's temporary, visitor etc visas
