Is it advisable to do medicals before having all the required documents.I am in a similar same situation as I have to get PCC from Germany and I am thinking I should wait for the PCC and send all the required documents around the same time the medicals will be done.
This is what I have done after receiving my MR (and the request for FBI Clearance Certificate). I sent them a mail on Saturday and they responded today. I didn't even believe they will respond. See emails below:

Dear 9ja4dLord
Thank you for your fast response to our earlier email requesting documents. We will require an FBI clearance report and are happy to extend your dead line date in order for you to provide it. Please provide all other documents requested and then forward the FBI report to our office when you receive it.
Regards (RK)

Dear Sir/Ma,
Follow up to my earlier e-mail, Please find attached a copy of the Letter of Record that I had earlier obtained from the City Police Department in 2012. Please can you confirm if this would suffice if I get an updated letter from the City Police Department.
Thanks.

Dear RK,
Thanks for the update on the status of my application for permanent residence in Canada.
You have given me 30 days to provide the document and I am willing to comply with this. However,
I checked the CIC website now and I discovered that Processing times for the FBI Clearance which is listed as one of the requirements for continuing the processing of my application for permanent residence in Canada are normally between 16 and 18 weeks. Please how do I align the two timelines to avoid a refusal of my application as contained in one of your closing paragraphs.
By the way I did not include the FBI Clearance because my studies ended in the US more than 5 years ago as at the time I submitted my application. I apologize for the misunderstanding on my part.
Thanks
