@ Taoluk, thanks for the response..pls I also need to know if it's important for my spouse go for credentials evaluation since he is not the principal applicant? Do I need to evaluate my tertiary degree or is Waec included ? Thanks
Yes, your spouse credential evaluation will give you additional points.
Also, only post-secondary education is required to be evaluated if you have Bachelors or Masters degree.

hello guys, i was requested to submit additional information on proof of fund which i already did. i was given 30Days. i want to find out like how many days will it take to get my ppr as it was stated in the letter sent to me that the application process is completed

Great job from great Nigerians. Keep up the good work.

God bless all our efforts.

Hello guys,

It's pretty nice to see a forum like this with my fellow Nigerians :)

I just have a few questions that I hope can be kindly answered:

1. Can I can get a family member/friend to help obtain my police report/certificate in Nigeria?
2. What documents do I need to provide them?
3. How long does it take to obtain this document?
4. How long is it valid for?

Thanks,
B

Hello BA2LAMAZ,
I would try to answer your questions to the best of my abilities.
1. Yes you can get a family member or friend to help you with your Nigerian police report but you will still need to provide finger prints which can be done through authorised bodies by NPF depending on your location.

2&3. These answers will be available when your representative visit state command. But of you were present you should get it with 48hrs or less.

4. It's usually valid for a year according to cic but I suggest you only get when you get your ITA and not before.

Hope that helps....best wishes.

Thanks Nas man. I am in Canada and wouldn't be able to get my police report done myself.

Okay so I will get my finger prints done and sent to my family. Is there any other document I need to send along with my finger prints?

Now that I know it is valid for one year, I will request for it once I create my account to avoid any delays (courier service time).

Hello everyone.

Please, which of the CIC approved hospitals in Lagos (or even Abuja) will agree to do medical examination, especially chest xray on a pregnant woman?

I do want to do this as I know there is very little risk.

As for your wife, the hospital would advice, but I don't think they will make her do xray.

Any idea of one in Lagos?

just give them a call and they will answer all your questions.

I used IOM at Ikeja Lagos. My wife wasn't pregnant so I don't know if they have same as Abuja. I have posted their address and contact details above.
