Thanks so much Ayokunle for the detailed info. However, the only difference is I wouldn't be doing it myself because I'm in Canada. So that's why I said I will be sending my finger print to them. Do you know if I still have to send a photocopy of my passport bio page and passport photos? As for negotiation, I bet my sister is capable ;)

By the way, my family is in PH, so can this be done at any police station?

Yes, you will need to attach photocopy of your passport (bio-data page ) and two passport size photos

You can only do it in police headquarters which is in Ikoyi, Lagos and Abuja . Not sure about the Location of Abuja office, but I know the one in Lagos is sited at Ikoyi.

Best wishes

Please guys how can I secure provincial nomination in any province to boost my points so as get ITA faster? Urgent help needed pls. Thanks

Hi everyone,
I am new here. I got my LAA last month and im presently planning to submit my application but something came up when I was chatting with a friend. He said I must notarize ALL my supporting documents ranging from birth certificates, international passport, school certificates and all employer letters. Could this be true? I have few days left to submit my application.

Please add me up on whatsapp; +234-813-875-2882

I got confused too abt this 2 yrs ago. NO!!! u dont need to do that. Notarization is for documents that were translated to English from another language and i believe all these docs u are talking abt are already in English Lang, just scan the originals and you are good to go. Goodluck

Thanks Lakesyde.
I have another question about reference letter from employer. The reference letter given to me by my employer only state my name and job title, no more information about my job duties and responsibilities, hours worked per week; gross annual salary etc. What can I do?

More so, how many months bank statement should I submit and how much is expected to be in the account and for how long should the money be in the account?

Thank you.

Your reference letter must state your duties according to your NOC code. Your application may be rejected if not in that format.

Pls read up the amount you need and conert using currency converter, you can place the amount in a fixed deposit and print the advise accordingly.

Yes Ogeorge is right and you have to go back to ur employer(s) for new letter(s). The content of any reference letter from your employer should contain info abt

(1) Your date of employment
(2) Date of contract termination OR mention if you are still with the employer,
(3) Your job duties/responsibilities (relating to ur NOC)
(4) Your Salary and other remunerations well stated
(5) Mode of communication at your work place is English language

Goodluck
