Hi guys,
good morning. I received LAA last month and I am just filling up the necessary details. However, I need some clarification. How do I get a Self Assessment form as mine was never saved and I cannot seem to assess it again Also, when they ask for reason for choosing Manitoba and also reason for choosing Winnipeg, what are they looking for?
Finally, please what is the time range for the entire application process?

Thank you very much. Expecting your kind response

1 (a) Manitoba offers permanent residence programs for immigrants, after a permanent residence
live and work in manitoba for 3 years, the applicant can apply for citizenship and with few steps,
the permanent residence can now become a citizen

1 (b) MANITOBA have one of the best health care system in the world: Health care in manitoba
is free regardless of the severity of the condition, thanks to the
government’s Universal Health Care program. immigrants only need to stay for at least three
months to start availing of the health
benefits. The free health services are not limited to certain clinics and hospitals. A permanent
resiedent can simply go to the health care center of your choice and avail of free treatment.

1 (c) Free quality education. Not only Canada offers free education, it is also of high quality.
When compared to the other countries
where public schools have up to 65 students per teacher, do not have sufficient chairs and
books, unclean toilets and underpaid teachers, Canada’s quality of education is delivered
through adequate supply of required materials necessary for optimal learning experience. We
may avail of similar things in here in Nigeria, but only at schools where fees are beyond reach of the general population.

2 (a) WINNIPEG environment in Canada is very clean because the government ensures that
the surroundings are clean, waste is properly disposed of and drainage systems are well-
maintained and All the new residents have the same freedom, rights and status as that of
Canadian citizens which is an exceptional feature are in the political areas and some high ranking
jobs

2(b) There is no Racism and age discrimination In WINNIPEG: The age limit and “pleasing
personality” currently being practiced in many countries may be a thing of the past as Canada
does not discriminate against elder members of the society entering in the job market.

the time duration varies, for nomination the ideal time is 1 year, but some are more than that, if u check the timelines we have here some are 20 months, while some 15 months, some 11 months, so d time varies, but i stil dont understand y d time varies

Hi, I suggest you try the 2016 Express entry thread for answers to your query. You will find mostly 2014 applicants on this thread and the rules to this application process have long changed.

Please check the Fsw 2014 thread for applications timeline. Some October 2014, applicants just received their visas last week

Hello KaZUcHen,

In addition to what highty said, i think you have to read the requirements very well on the MPNP website on what you have to do. In terms of the assessment form do a search of that form on MPNP website. During our time, it was on the website and was in pdf format. Finally, the reasons for choosing Manitoba/Winnipeg...try and do a google search on what makes Manitoba a better place to relocate to compared to other provinces in Canada. Especially in the area of standard of living, taxes, cost of house ownership/rent, crime rate and child-care availability et al.

Hope this helps.

Maikudi

Abeg my sister relax! Something like that happened to me that I nearly developed hypertension. I sent two self addressed envelopes instead of labels!! When i could not sleep I consulted the thread for CIC preparation where VictorPapa put my mind at rest that the envelopes are always for when they have to return incomplete applications, truly my application was not returned cos i did other things right. I got my AOR life and direct so don't stress yourself.
Cheers 8)

Tee,

I'm fine o just observing from the background my sister.

Yommy...i know that feeling...thats where am at now, just dey wait, observing as usual... even cic stage is like MPNP's, no timelines are certain...i read of someone who submitted to cic same day as i did, they have received their AOR, since a week ago...your's truly is still waiting. the only difference is that i am now used to the way our applications are processed in no definite time frame....so i wait and continue to pray for the best as i encourage all of us to do the same...JESUS is still on the throne making our dreams come true... ;D ;D

No Sir,

All you need is to get reference letters from all the employers you have worked for (on their official letter head paper). The content of the latter should state
(1) Your date of employment
(2) Date of contract termination or mention if you are still with the employer,
(3) Your job duties/responsibilities
(4) Your Salary and other remunerations well stated

You can always convince your employer to write other good recommendation about you and how you can be an asset to your intending province. NOTE that the contact details of the referral should be well stated on the letter. Good luck
