Nigerian Applicants for MPNP 2014 timelines....abeg!

Hello people! I was asked for pof update in accra few weeks ago which i sent with sufficient amount.My file has not been reviewed yet (on queue). pls what rate will AVO be using as the new CBN forex guideline is out?

Hmmm... this is going to be very hard to predict, as the new CBN policy states that forex is now going to be purely market-driven. But i think the rate will definitely be lower compare to what is obtained in the old black/parallel market today. Lets see what happens when only the authorized dealers start to trade at the interbanks market and the so called single market is in operation.

AKINS natin to fear, u will be nominated, now u will pay CAD$550 for application fee when you are sending it to CIC, last month o gorge said 1CD$ is 278, thats bank rate[access], cbn rate 155, now no use of naira master card again, i tink u already no what to do

ok leke oti bo, infact if some1 is having money, d advisable thing to do is for some1 to pay both application fee and right to permanent residence fee at a time, leke ma enjoy lo beyen

u will enter the digit of your master card[ATM], so if they did not deduct it, u will find some1 with dolla account to help you pay, of if u are rich, open a dola account yourself, it will be processed easily

@24/7 are u a pnp applicant or fsw ?

I guess they will be using the prevalent rate as at when recieved

so if you send now and rates are changed on monday, it will be the rate as at monday that will be used .

;D ;D funny you. As for me, i ll advise Vbaba to pay for just the application fee now cos of the present rate. The new CBN forex policy will soon drag the dollar exchange rate down. Trust me Dollar is coming down soon

I appreciate all ur advise so far, pls what is the average proccessing time for the PR, application after being sent to CIC, under MPNP, cos d 1 I saw on there website was 15months, I dont know maybe that is the actual or minimum time before getting the PR visa, from, Ghana Canadian embassy

CIC will try to process ur application within 15 months of time frame. Most ppl hav gotten their visas within a year after file sent.

@Ayokunle, Ur timeline shows there was two and a half months between AOR and file transfer to Ghana. I feel that's too long a time! Ghana visa office is slow, understood, I wonder why it took so much time to transfer file. Whereas, in other threads I have seen file transfer done within a week or two of AOR. If u checked Znarfier and Idiana profiles, u will be amazed at d speed. Will it be appropriate to say Nigerian outland applications are cautiously processed?

@Ayokunle, between AOR was even 3 months 8 days as against 2 and a half months I mentioned earlier. It is unbelievably long!

Ade relax, well i cant say Accra Visa office is slow, as at 2013 there processing time was 9 months, but now its 15 months, see dele applications are too much with them, they process 5 countries, do u no d amount of applicants in Nigeria, federal skill worker, pronvincial nominees, etc, there are thousands of applications with them, those indians, philipines, and london visa office are extremely fast, most times i do suprise that an applicant that got AOR in April is already doing medicals, and were both the same 2014, most london visa now are presently at medicals


so the processing times is 15 months, now there on september/november 2015, so ade once u submit ur application, will have to wait for 6 - 8 months before medicals, ok to make it more easier u can calculate this tin urself, its 15 months, first


5 months is for application recieved and AOR,
the second 5 months is for Medicals, pprf, police, interview, etc,
so the last 5 month is for passport request, ur passport sent, decision made


so while waiting, u will be praying and doing research, on whats next, to me dis tin is not long, dis is permanent residence, not visitin, not student, not sponsorship that are fast, so thats just the simple breakdown, we will all wait for that 15 months we dont have any choice, so pls dont blame accra, there working, application just too much
