Hello Everyone,

I'm happy to find this forum. I'm preparing to apply for the MPNP 2015 but I want clarification on some issues, more especially from those who have experience with the online application.

Firstly, will I be needing my wife's and child's passport for the online application? The one she has is the one bearing her father's surname and we want to do another one as the old one is expired and we feel the new one should be in my surname, moreso as it's her bank account details we will use as our proof of funds.

Also, she's doing her own business and it's registered, is it only the cert. Of registration we will upload or we should also write on the company's letterhead to describe what the company does, etc. Also, I help in doing the business but I work as an administrative personnel in my church, I'm thinking of not just getting letter from my place of work but also using my wife's to write to mpnp that we run the business together, what can anyone advise about this?

Also, is it compulsory that bank statement and emplyment letter also be notarized, bearing in mind that the bank would have put their own stamp as well on the statement and my office will put theirs on the letter as well.

Finally, how do I go about the settlement plan? Thank you

@Teju, it is settled, just trust in God. I am still over the moon i ve LOA. From experience, It is important we mind the info we put on social media cos, they use what we post on facebook and others to assess our files with them. They compare info on social media with the ones on file. It's also important we update our Linkedln file and connect with professionals in same field in Manitoba. That shows our readiness to settle and connect. Anyone that has/had a previous or other ongoing application to other province should be ready to defend why not Manitoba in other application cos they expect you to be able to convince them you are not just looking for manitoba nomination to enter Canada and later shenk them for other province. In other words, all apps are linked irrespective of when you filed. Good luck to all of us. We ll all ve the Maple leave and be able to share our success stories soon IJMN

how is everyone doing? Teju and Balobabes thanks so much for all the uplifting words, Balobabes is a great example of perseverance and I am so happy she's finally received her LOA.

Although I am not a social media person as I haven't been on my fb for ages and use that to promote hats made by my sister... ;D, plus I don't even have a LinkedIn account, I get the whole point of what Balobabes is saying. we will connect, be hopeful and wait patiently for our turn.

But there is something else I want to share with my people here. I have always worked in the Oil and gas sector especially downstream retail trade in marketing and sales management roles, now I find myself in the upstream sector as a contracts and commercial administrator...I finally have an opportunity to choose what I want to get certified in (company will pay for my choice of certification), should I opt for a marketing certification as I indicated in my MPNP APPLICATION, or should I go with Contracts and commercial associate certification, keeping in mind this is my present direction and it seems more in line with my masters . please your advise is much needed as I think I want to follow this contracting line, but my MPNP chosen profession is in sales & marketing.

A healthy dose of patience!it will end on a positive note,let us just continue to pray for favor and patience.meanwhile,mpnp have been dishing out interviews and loas.it is well guys.lets keep the hope alive. God bless our application

This rain of interviews and LOAs is not really falling here ooo , God please let it shower on us too as it seems its mainly the Asians that are been processed faster. I guess one's profession also affects the length of time ones application takes to be processed. Anyway to God be the glory, we will be in Manitoba One day soon.
