I have been following this forum for so time. I really admire the level of faith, support for one another and testimonies that have been abounding left-right and center. I say the Lord Bless you all in 2015.

I am interested in moving to Manitoba, I don't have any family or friends there. I am considering the strategic initiative program (exploratory visit), I have checked the website, but can't seem to find any updates.

Can anyone advise on any alternative route?! Hoping to hear from you all as soon as possible.

1. My son recently moved to Manitoba in Dec 2014 and is currently in school in Manitoba. What are the likely implications of this to my application? I submitted my MPNP application in Feb 2013 and got an acknowledgement of receipt, then nothing.
2. How do I communicate the change to MPNP? My application is General stream, paper based.
3. Recently, in my frustration, I have been thinking of submitting a skilled labour application (to take advantage of the express entry); what are your thoughts please?

Hi Gucci

I think you should send mpnp a mail regarding your application of Feb 2013 or your sponsor should pay them a visit. I don't think your son's movement will have any form of effect on your application for LOA. However, you may not include him as one of those accompanying you to manitoba if he is above 18 years. Good luck
