Hello,

Am new here and have been reading through the various post and the feedbacks are quite encouraging. We are preparing to submit our application next week. My husband is the principal applicant as his sister is sponsoring us under FS. While filling the forms, my hubby did not include our middle names but he did for our children. He has tried severally to update it but it keeps bringing errors. Kindly advise what to do.

It would be nice for other Nigerians in this forum to please share their experience

Hello Beeceeayo,

I see no reason why it should be given errors. Go to 'edit' of what you want to modify, edit, then save. I had no problems with that. Try again, maybe you sign out and log in again and see if that works.

Thank God oo! Our Nigerian pple don dey comment.make we sef get forum,the Filipinos don use deir language scatter my head .theyv been really helpful to me sha.
Beasseeayo,for ur application,u havent submitted right?i know they have some work been done on deir website,some upgrade,so just keep trying until u are able to sort it out.

Na so we bad reach? At least 9ja people dey talk for another forum, CIC Accra. You cannot compare the number of MPNP applicants from Filipinos people and 9ja, i hear say na dem full Winnipeg.

Maikudi loooollllllll,na so ooo!na dem full dere oo!i also learnt that lots of pple from all over too are dere.its really ethnically diverse.meanwhile,good news o!i just learnt from my family in winnipeg that d govt of manitoba are now deploying a new and faster means of handling our applications.so it might be faster than we thought! ;D by God's grace ooooooo.fingers crossed for all of us.

Still giving the same error but my hubby found a way round it by deleting my details and filled it all over again but was unable to do his cos there is no option of deleting his as he is the principal applicant. He has sent a mail to them about the issue and we are hoping for a positive feedback tomorrow. In the mean time, do you have an idea how long the nomination process would take for family stream?

Yea it is expected that Winnipeg would be ethnically diverse. How did your family get this info? I hear a lot from this forum and honestly, i don't believe it, especially when it is not on MPNP website. Ask them for more details as i don't want to raise my emotions only to find out its not true.

Beeceeayo,
I will suggest you leave it for now, because it appears MPNP is updating its web page. It did not do that when i filled my application. The nomination process depends on a lot of factors i really don't know. Some people have been nominated after four to five months, but i think the majority takes more than six months.

Still giving the same error but my hubby found a way round it by deleting my details and filled it all over again but was unable to do his cos there is no option of deleting his as he is the principal applicant. It's true oo maikudi,dont knw where dey got d news from sha!but I personally read a newsletter from David cohen,an immigration lawyer that things are goin faster.mhis clients hav been giving him feedback on the speedier processing time.for my own peace of mind,im still lookin at 5-6mnoths

Its still good news if you look at it from another perspective. Meaning that by God's grace when we clear MPNP, our application through the federal processing for PR will be much quicker. Thanks for this info though.
