Hellooooooooooo,
Good news: I got my passport stamped in Accra this evening (at about 4:00pm Ghanaian time).
It is as glossy as everyone before me had described it.
I pray this will usher in torrents of positive results for us all(Amen).
Everyone here had been of great help.
May God reward you all with a miraculously fast-tracked result from Accra.

My Naija people, I received a call today, from a lady who said she was calling from the Canadian High Comission, Accra. She mentioned my names, and asked if I had received an email for furthered medicals, and if I had complied. I told her that I had since completed the repeat/additional tests requested, and asked that she contact the DMP in Lagos, for confirmation.
I feel so bad that the DMP still hasn't forwarded my results to France, 2 weeks after I completed the 2nd medicals . I have called them, and their explanation is that the respiratory consultant has been so busy, and has not sent them the test report up till this moment.
Accra is really working hard now to catch up with other CHCs, and maybe I was on the verge of getting my PPR, but for this delay :(

No worries Omoge - Seems like thing are moving in Accra :P :P :

Please only leave 24 hrs interval before calling the DMP again. What kind of busi-ness is that? Do they know what determination is involved in compiling all these docs? and the waiting game?

My 9ja peeps,
Here's my first post on this forum. I'm a 1122 july 2011 applicant, so I'm very fresh, just got my PER and hope to join u guys that have gotten your PR status.........very soon.

My question is, since I live in canada, my vo/accra, do all successful applicants go to accra to get their passport stamped or send through courier?

Good luck everyone!

Thanks EMO, I am going to keep calling the DMP until I am sure they have done the needful. You won't believe that I paid 200k for the additional tests, and I have not even added the cost of my flight, local transport, and even the wahala involved.

@ Kcsider, yes o!, Accra appears to be moving, but our people here do not want to move at the new pace of Accra.

Seun,

You can get the bank draft (in canadian dollars) from GTBank in Lagos or liaise with any of their branches....

A little tip... Send an updated police report (for you & your spouse) with the documents.

All the best !
Omo Naija, thanks alot I will go to GTB and get the draft from them.

it is true that accra is sincerely trying to keep the timeline or rather cut it a lil short. The problem is the nigeria factor is killing. It is unfortunate. God will intervene. Congratz to those that have gotten the maple leaf. Brace yourself peep, accra will surprise all of you.
