Harper has not shown commitment to increasing staffs CHC even though there is a wide spread knowledge that the present staff are grossly inadequate. i believe that some years from now the votes of the immigrant communities will go a long way in determining future president. ;D

I finally arrived Canada today after a long journey that began the previous day. I thank God for His grace and kindness towards us.

Pa Right have you gotten a venue? am beginning to have second thought about this meeting oh? any venue yet? what is the cost can we know before coming? i prefer us knowing the cost ahead and then prepare for it rather than get the last arrangement. What about food? certainly not snacks anyway i rest my case

Jada, Good day and how is life, getting a Canadian dollar draft here is the process
you open a dom account with GTB then buy US dollar and pay into your account there after you can purchase the draft.
with GTB i think it is centralized to Adetokubo Ademola branch in VI, Lagos. i guess the branch can process it then send to the VI branch where it is processed and send it via courrier to the branch you made the request.
meanwhile PM to give you a friend's number who is in charge.
have it in mind that you will have to buy more of US dollars as Canadian dollar is higher now.

@ lnd_dan, I Just wanted to know if you have obtained your CAD draft from GTB? I have opened my USD acct with GTB and will like to know what to do next as per the CAD draft.

@Jada, yes that was where I got my draft for both processing fee & RPRF. If u are in Lagos visit the branch. in few hours you get ur CND draft. Guess GTB is the only Bank that issues CND$ am not sure of any.

I have gotten the draft from GTB and my baby application has been forwarded, remember to do a letter to the branch manager requesting for a foreign draft in CAD$, in favour of the reciever general for canada and authorising them to debit ur account for d charges when going to the bank, hope u've gotten her ppt and BC.
