Dear Friends,
Forgive my absence all the while. It was for a Gud reason. Congratulations to all esteemed members with PPRs and PRVs and those that had been formally 'welcomed to Canada'. For the 2013 colleagues, it is too close now; MR rain will pour like Neva b4.

While I was away I got PPR.

Congratulations

Congratulations dcrest

Congrats Temi and Dcrest. For 2013 applicants i think you guys should just enrol in the school of patience because the waiting period is usually between PER and MR. i got PER in december 2011 and MR in january 2014. the wait was indeed long. i dont pray for 2013 applicants to have to wait that long oooo i just think oga Hakpoguma should print more admission forms cause it seems a lot of us need to enrol. stay hopeful guys we will surely smile at the end.

Congrats to dcrest.

Good day peeps,

How is our weekend going. I hope we are doing well. I believe positive updates are coming this new week.

Cheers.

CBB.

SINCE MAY WAS NOT VERY PROMISING, I THINK JUNE MIGHT BE THE MONTH.

CHEERS.

Hello all,
I landed Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada since 15th May, 2014 with all members of my family. The journey through Qatar Airways from Lagos - Doha - Montreal & Canada Air to Winnipeg therefore was pleasant. My children are very excited for the fulfilment of long time dream.

I'm settling down & I will get back in details
In summary, I'm fulfilled. I love my new home & country.

Regards!
gina.

Congrats Temi and Olamide am glad your interview went well. Dcrest congrats on your PPR. To all forumites keep on keeping on no time is too late to land in Canada as God makes all things beautiful in his time. When Accra is delaying, use the time to get busy acquiring skills and certifications that can be useful here.

The wait can be killing!!! Trust me I have been there but I used the two years plus it took me to start ACCA certification while in Nigeria, I wrote my last paper before I landed and that certification gave me a big boost in Canada. I got that information on the forum that with ACCA I can get CGA in Canada and I started immediately. Was it easy NO but it's easier in Naija where One has a lot of help in family and friends than in Canada so I urge everyone to take advantage of the waiting time to enrich oneself.

This Journey is a marathon not a 100 meter dash! While I don't mean to scare anyone immigration at the initial time can be tough and challenging but with God and positive mindset we will succeed.
