Hello Seniors,

Following my LOA approval from Manitoba, I'm about sending my CIO application package latest April 30. In preparation for sending my application package, I obtained a bank draft in Canadian dollars from GTB on March 22. However, reading through the Application Guide, it states that one must obtain the bank draft not more than 30 days prior to sending the application to CIO. In my case, sending the application package by April 30 implies that I got my bank draft 39 days prior to sending it to CIO. From your experiences, do you feel that I need to visit the bank to get the bank draft reissued or I should just send it with its current issue date?

Your kind advise will be most appreciated.

Cheers,

Ofis

Thanks to everybody that has rejoiced with me. I am resisting the temptation to start mentioning names.

Good day everyone,
Can someone pls help me out with useful information on what to do.
I have sent in my application since February ending for the FSW 2013 program, and from tracking information, it was delivered on the 3rd of March 2014.
I haven't seen any correspondence regarding my application, my account has also not been debited...what can I do?
What email address can I send inquiries to regarding my application?

Dear PRD,

Like forum members have always advocated, patience is the name of the game. You need loads of it to endure this arduous process. The information below applies to applicants that applied under the Federal Skilled Worker and Federal Skilled Trade Program categories.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/next_steps.asp

In particular, please refer to the information below on how to correspond with CIC, Nova Scotia

Federal skilled workers who applied to the CIO and have a request for case information may contact the Client Service Unit (CSU). Note that if your application has already been sent to the visa office for processing, the CIO will not be able to help you.

You will not receive a reply to your email if:

you have not already applied as a federal skilled worker;
you are not authorized by the applicant to receive personal information;
you applied within the last six weeks; or
your enquiry concerns a topic other than your case.
Please do not send the same enquiry more than once. You can reach the CSU at CIO‑Sydney‑Search‑Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca.

Courier address
Centralized Intake Office
49 Dorchester Street
Sydney, Nova Scotia B1P 5Z2
Canada

I wish you the very best..

my advise for you is to follow there rules, or else you might forfeit your normination letter, cos it has an expiration date, when i sent my application , i used online, with my atm .

i believe raising another draft might be stressful, kindly use the online portal and pay for your application fee, if not go raise anoda draft.
