To go there, connect through 3rd mainland bridge and get to Obalende.Drive down to Onikan round about and turn round as if you are going back to connect Awolowo way.Keep driving to where you will see Mobil filling station.Just ask people there. You should be good.

GentleAndrew, I bow for this your descriptions o! Is it another Consultant Practice or which one? I had thought driving down to Falomo roundabout from Third mainland/Osbone/Kingsway and connecting Awolowo road from there and make the first left turn after the demolished Falomo Shopping Complex and then drive to the end of the road to connect Raymond Njoku number 25 should be better. JJC like me go loss if I follow your description!

Congratulations to those who have gotten one positive update or the other.

A job well done to all those who have through their contributions & inputs made thus forum a daily digest and an source of immeasurable information to many. Thanks a lot!

Does anyone have an idea of the state of backlogs in AVO?

I have asked this because I am trying to have an idea of applicants who are presently getting one update or the other (MR,RPRF & PPR) and see how this would relate to fswp 2013 applicants.

Over the past few months, have there been a significant reduction in the average waiting time an applicant waits before having an update from AVO after PER?

Does anyone have an idea of d earliest time fswp 2013 applicants can expect any update from AVO?

Thanks Eni and Jodav this looks clearer to me. I know my way to Falomo shopping complex but Awolowo road is a long stretch of road. Coming from Osborne towards Falomo and approaching the roundabout, do I keep to my right or drive through the roundabout straight down?

@ Floxxy,
Comming from osborne to Falomo, pls dont climb falomo bridge, turn under the bridge to your right you will see zenon filling station/zenith bank branch opposite church of assumption falomo, then enter Awolowo road and enter the next turning by the left on the awolowo way stretch, you then can reconfirm the raymond njoku Street/cresecent .

Thanks ekundapsy for this insight..
My poeple, any way to be proactive about this - medical test results delivery to CIC?.

I will still suggest a case specific enquiry. We know that updates after MR are very fast these days. So, if you don't get any update after a month, (I think a month is safe), send a case specific enquiry to ACCRA and CIC. If you don't get "medical results have been received" on your ecas, send a CSE.
Other people should comment, pls......

Good day Ekundapsy and other forum memebers,

Please I just need your advice on my application. I applied under the NOC 2011 Code 1112 and my application was delivered to the CIC office on the 4th of July 2013. I sent via FedEx to the address given for those sending their application via courier. As at then the applicants for this category was less than 150 (less than half filled). I kept monitoring the site and the quota was filled up around the 2nd week of August, about 5 – 6 weeks after my application was delivered. However I have not heard anything from them since then. A friend of mine also applied just about 4 days before mine and he is yet to get any correspondence from them too. We both gave details of our Credit Card for the applicable fees and we are yet to receive any Debit alerts. I have also been checking the post office box I gave and did not get any surface mail from them too. From this forum I have seen that some applicants got the first correspondence from them after about 2 or 3 months and mine is over 4 months now. Please what do you suggest I do?

4th of July is approximately 29 weeks so that is enough time for CIO to have the record of your application in their data base.

I would advice you send a mail to them asap to know the status of your application.

You can mail them at cio-sydney-search-enquiry@cic.gc.ca

Good luck.

My family Config is the same and I did not send any additional doc. I really do not know why. may a random selection thing as Hakpoguma pointrd earlier.
