Dear All,

I am a newby on this forum, ought to have join this train long time ago, but its better late than never. I want to say many thanks to all the information gained by reading this thread, and congratulations to all those who have received their visas and those who have already landed. For those of us who are just starting the journey, we are encouraged by the feedback of the forerunners, and I pray that God will grant us all grace to see our dreams to fruition.

Madam Tinu, we are hanging out there, only that this wait is quite excruciating. The place they opened for the Masquerade to see is no longer where the Masquerade sees from :o :o. What can we do but to continue waiting, praying and trusting God. I hope you and yours are doing great.

Happy Sunday Folks and lets continue to have positive attitude :D :D 8) 8)

@Gentleandrew,

I won't put money on it to say 100% this will be the only answer, but my personal take is that the passport is an important document as it will be the one they will issue the PR visa on if finally approved. If you filled in your twins' details on the generic form and no passport details then it could be interpreted as incomplete document.

I sincerely hope my interpretation is wrong, but other seniors can help out or people with similar experience or know people that has done same can share. Good luck.

I am a Mining Engineer and a Nigerian resident in South Africa. This is my first post here even though I registered with this forum long time ago. It is better late than never as the adage goes.

I must say there is a wealth of information here and I have gained a lot from reading this thread. Many thanks to those who have shared their knowledge freely. I want to seize this opportunity to congratulate those who have succeeded in their quest to re-locate to Canada. For those of us who have just started or even just thinking about it, there is hope. The Almighty God will see us through in Jesus name.

I am interested in relocating to Manitoba but I don't know anybody there. Is there anyway I can connect with somebody there? I will appreciate your responses.

Thank you all!

Personnel (Inclusive of benefits)

. Rough estimate of the annual salary for a 2-3 yrs Accounts
Personnel (Inclusive of benefits)

. Rough estimate of the annual salary for a 7-9 yrs Branch Manager

Please I will like to know from this honourable house if a bank draft issued in Naira currency can be use as proof of landing fund?

Can a cheque issued in Nigeria currency be use as a proof of landing fund?

My people, I have finally collected the permanent resident visa and the COPR from Accra.
I arrived Lagos last week Wednesday morning from Manchester and I was lucky to board an early morning Flight from Lagos to Accra. I was advised at the airport to do the yellow fever card which cost only (#500 Naira) and you really don’t need a tout to get one.
I got into Accra at 9.00am Nigeria time and I took a cab to the Canadian High commission for 10 pounds which I think was a reap off.
At the embassy I was so surprised to see that there was no queue. I submitted my documents and I was asked to come back at 3.30pm Accra time.
I went back to the embassy at 2.50pm and to the glory of almighty God, I was given the visa and COPR form for me and family members. In addition I was given the entire original document I submitted to Accra during the last 3 years.
To everyone on this forum, I say a big thank you. I may be a silent member but I am continuously praying for you all in my daily prayers
