Hey all,

I must apologize for being away for so long. I'll make some posts shortly but I got some info which I suspect explains why some medicals are delayed. Foreign office staffs are currently on strike! :o >:( :-[ :'( See below:

But then the below link shows that we have a great potential!

Goodday all;
Please i need your feedback on some of my issues. I submitted my complete CIC application to NS on MArch 27th and was acknowledged, got an AOR from NS last month, 25th that my application would be forwarded to my VO which is accra. Just early this morning 19/6/2013,i got a mail from accra stating that my application has been received and that "This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following documents:

RPRF: Pay the Right of Permanent Residence fee. and *** To avoid delays, please submit all requested documents at the same time ***"

Now my queries are;
1. Am in Lagos,Nigeria,how do i go about paying this $490 and sending over to accra, which BANK is preferable and what are the options available.
2. I havent gotten my medical request as at now, when am i likely going to get this and can anyone tell me a reliable hospital to use in Lagos and what is the procedure(i.e, after i receive the letter from accra, do i need to inform the hospital or i Just go there directly, what is the cost)
3. What other document is requested of me to send over to accra as they said "submit all requested documents at the same time".

Thanks in advance

Zeemama,

Firstly congrats. Secondly, which year did you submit the application. March 27th, 2010, 2011, 2012 or 2013?

You are forgiven for being away all this while as your post was quite soul-lifting.

Congrat on your RPRF and hopefully you should get the MR latest by Friday if not tomorrow (Thursday). I used Asaju and guess most people prefer them but you can check out the list of approved clinics here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medicalinfo.aspx?CountryID=1977&CountryName=Nigeria

On the bank draft kindly visit GTB for Canadian dollar draft. That was where I got mine. The draft is the document expected from you, fear not. ;D

Wooooow. Congrat. You are getting closer to the promise land ;D

Great day to All,
@ Biolah and zeemama congrats. Expect your eMR before Friday. @zeemama, you can pay RPRF in USD (any Naija bank can do that) but if you need it in CAD, U can only get it from GTB (though u need to have a USD account). U can send it to them via courier. I'll advise you wait to get eMR, U may be asked for fresh PCC if the one there is over 1 year.

@All let's hang in there, more testimonies are underway.

You are welcome and trust you are getting ready for your MR ;D Claim it as the arrival of the baby is believed to have released all delays concerning your application.
