Well, what do you think, my friend? We'll probably have them for dinner ;) :D

And are you from Tahiti?

Spokes n Zajeb congratulations on ur PR visas. The good Lord will perfect ur ways in Canada IJN amen.
@ all, this is our month of great expectations, hence as the good Lord has said concerning us of this wonderful forum, our expectations will not be cut short IJMN amen. Have a testimony filled week all.

Faster Medicals:
Canada has deployed 'eMedical System' (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/pia/e-medical.asp)- effective June 1, 2013. The eMedical System is an electronic system hosted, operated and maintained by the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship(DIAC); upon completion of Medicals, the info is temporarily stored in the 'eMedical System' and transmitted electronically to CIC. By implication, Medicals will be processed faster.

The Consultants Practice is now e-Medical ena, no info about others yet.

Can we then say this is the reason for the delayed medical? I hope they will commence before the month ends and we can then assume that by July PPR will land.......either which way,' the die is cast'.

...........just take it in stride. And remember, nothing should take the place of the health of your unborn child; not even medicals.

When MR comes, if the doctors advise your wife not to go for X-ray yet (cos of gestational age at the time), you may go without wifey for the medicals and advise Accra accordingly (I believe there are many instances like this in the forum which you can refer to for guidance).

Big congratulations gel003 on the arrival of your Baby.
May God Almighty nurture the baby Amen.

My good people.

First and foremost thank you all for your wonderful contributions to this forum it has helped greatly on this our journey.

I went to accra to pick up our visas and decided to drop a few hints for those that will be taking that trip soon.

- first and foremost pick a hotel close to the embassy
- secondly ensure your RPRF is paid for those going through an agent (our agent hadnt paid ours yet so i was delayed a bit)
- there is no need to rush to the embassy getting there for 8 - 8.15 am is fair. The lady collects documents till like 11am
- if you are staying overnight just buy an airtel sim. it is a whole lot cheaper....... mtn will just run you dry. - 50 bucks to send text. to receive calls they charge you.

I think thats about it..........

God bless........ ;D
