I feel your letter to AVO will be more presentable and formal if typed and could be sent through a courier (DHL, UPS or Fedex). You will be able to track it to know when it is delivered.

I assume you are sending the update by courier, if my assumption is right then send your update to the address below and you'll just be fine:

Immigration Section
Canadian High Commission
42 Independence Avenue, Accra, Ghana

And please quote your complete application number on your correspondence.

Congrats .... You will surely need the yellow fever card b4 you enter Accra so make sure you get the card in Nigeria before your departure.

Dont know about the days .... Is a date stated on the PPR ? If not any day should suffice
