Hello guys,

Please i would like to connect with somebody that is applying for this coming FSW,so that we can accelerate together.

Please whats the processing time for this May applications........can the elders of this forum assist???

Thanks
I advice you not to accelerate with anybody. Just ask your questions, accelerate the gathering of your documents, stick to advice confirmed by 2 or 3 witnesses and accelerate to the finish line. God will perfect the rest. All the best.

Double Portion,

They claim 1year! You're right! Honestly,MI3 should be settled before them attending to this new applicants if they would stick to the 1year waiting period, else I don't think it would work out.
This waiting period is by his grace.

For sure,
You are very right. Only these guys know what they are doing. Everyone should just continue to hold on in faith. Do you believe I met a family at the hospital where I did my medicals who said she applied 2004? The two children she brought for the medicals are now married. She is now doing it for the sake of her grand children.

Only the principal applicant requires IELTS. My husband never took it.

Under the new guidelines and the processing of applications made effective 4th May, to gain points under adaptability applicant's spouse (if any) need to undertake the IELTS.

Swinglow,
Asians have the highest number of immigrants to Canada, about 78%, while Africans are just 4%. As long as you are "just loving it", don't be bothered.

Thanks dear, I don't think I have much choice. Its 22 degrees and sunny and beautiful.

Hello all,

Please can someone / anyone be kind enough to provide me with the mobile phone number of any kind :P IOM Lagos staff.

Need to connect a friend urgently and they arent picking up their land lines.

Please assist.

Fantastic weather. There is hope for me. The only issue I have with that country is he weather, so if they can have 22degrees sometimes, no wahala then.

Yeah. I think you are correct oh. Principal applicant's spouse needs to take IELTS to score more points. But I'm not sure if its manatory for the spouse considering thay one could score points using other factors. We need further clarifications

Headyman,
How are you? I am great. To partner with me? Hmmm my own processing will pass AVO's own. You guys in Lag don't value agege bread and ijebu garri as some of us do in PH. These are really scarce commodities, so anytime I hear them being mentioned,I remember home sweet home and campus days. At least in Naija anytime you see someone going to lag we can send them to buy. But to carry to canada? By the time you land it will no longer be agege bread, so bakery is it. Shikena. ;D ;D

Whilst spouse IELTS is not mandatory as you have rightly pointed out, if you want to claim points under this heading in the adaptability section, it is no longer good enough that you have a spouse that has a degree, they will need to take the IELTS, here it becomes mandatory!

Of course, you can score points under adaptability heading via the other options like study in Canada, Relatives in Canada, Work Offer etc.
