Congratulations

Congrats to Ofonzo. Wish you a fruitful stay in Canada.

To the house. Did anybody read what Gabriella posted? I believe we should read it and plan ahead. In as much as We are eager to go, I still believe we need to plan to succeed there. We should not go with too high hopes without planning.

He who fails to plan ............

May God help us all.

All:

Thanks for all your best wishes. May GOD bring yours to pass quickly in Jesus Name.

Just a heads up, the High Commission in Accra will be closed tomorrow. They had a notice placed yesterday to that effect.

So if you planned to go there tomorrow, shift it a week, if you can.

I picked up the maple leafs yesterday after six long years, one application scrapped, an invite from CIC to participate in the FSW backlog reduction pilot and then having to jump so many hoops and some by faith, never really knowing but trusting, that God has a plan.
So as I peeked at the mapled leaf straddled between red bars flag at the Canadian High Commission in Accra, I couldn't but give thanks to God for bringing it to fruition. Finally it is here;signed, sealed, delivered.
A snip into the details when we got back to the high commission albeit rather late after a cab guy took us to independence square instead of independence avenue.lol! Femooo was losing his cool :( . Anyway we arrived 2:15pm, went through the drill of going through of security checks, then into the waiting room. We were 32 people waiting to be attended to, mainly visiting visas, then student and a few PR, I think 8PRs!
So one by one, names were called.Femoo was called early and had to wait for me, it took a long time before mine came out ( fear begin catch me small :o but God no gree them).
Eventually around 3:45pm.....voila! My name was called and the rest they say is history.
Thanks be to God- it is for an appointed time, though it tarried, it shall not tarry, it shall surely come to pass.
Glory to God!

Congrats once again......wish you journey mercies back to Naija.Am sure you would start packing ;D

Babakura,

Can those of us in FSW apply for PNP regardless of the stage of our application? It is as if you guys are being given preference over us!!!!

I tire o!

@double portion. Sorry I just saw your question as regards PCE. It is good to prepare ahead by reading NPTE text book. I am also now eligible for pce. A friend of mine prepares at the moment with NPTE text. He may register also with UBC preparatory class online. This is what I intend doing before taking the exams.
The new alliance update has moved many to pce eligibility. I wish good success as you read hard towards the papers.

Temi,
Thanks a lot. I will go and take a look at the UBC website. I already have the NPTE text book. I pray God grants us success.

If I have to recommend between the UBC programme and the Alberta bridging programme, I'll say go with UBC. In my opinion, the Alberta programme, does not specifically prepare you for the exam as the UBC does. Rather it helps to give you orientation into work settings and context of practice as a PT. That is good, but you need to pass the exam first for that to make sense. That's why I will recommend UBC. That's just my opinion anyway, it is always prudent for people to do their own research and decide accordingly.

All the best
