All,
Got to the Canadian High commission this morning, I met two people at gate as early as 6.30am and it soon ballooned to about 15 people with various consular needs I.e visiting, PR etc.
Meet a forumite there, he is a MPNP applicant, and we clocked into the high commission at a quarter to 8am. They have told us to come back at 2pm. So we have been hanging out doing breakfast, shopping and even had
Time to buy a Ghana Airtel SIM for my iPad. The guest house close to the Canadian High Commission is SSNT guest house run by the Seventh Day Adventist.i hope to get the phone numbers for those coming to Accra soon.
We are just killing time here and hoping that we get the PR visas when we get back to the high commission.

@ Aunty IG,
My prayer is that you and your family will pluck the PRV this year in Jesus name.amen

Ofonzo
As you have said so shall it be IG and her family shall definately have thier PRV this year IjN. Wish you safe trip back to 9ja.

Naija people,

This is live reporting from Accra where I have arrived to pluck the proverbial maple "ugwu" leaves. I am lodged at MJ Grand hotel in east legon , the cab driver said I should have stayed in a hotel close to the Canadian high commission. He said there is a hotel within walking distance. I will get the contacts for that hotel and pass it on. I will have to depart this hotel at 6am to get to the embassy due to the rush hour. The MJ grand cost $100/night with wifi and complement buffet breakfast.

I will keep the house posted.
@ ikemba, thanks for the heads up on the yellow fever card, it's serious business in Accra .

Journey mercies bro. and a big Amen to your prayer concerning Ma Ig and family.

"when the Lord turned away the captivity of Zion, we were like men that dreamed"
I picked up the maple leafs yesterday after six long years, one application scrapped, an invite from CIC to participate in the FSW backlog reduction pilot and then having to jump so many hoops and some by faith, never really knowing but trusting, that God has a plan.
So as I peeked at the mapled leaf straddled between red bars flag at the Canadian High Commission in Accra, I couldn't but give thanks to God for bringing it to fruition. Finally it is here;signed, sealed, delivered.
A snip into the details when we got back to the high commission albeit rather late after a cab guy took us to independence square instead of independence avenue.lol! Femooo was losing his cool :( . Anyway we arrived 2:15pm, went through the drill of going through of security checks, then into the waiting room. We were 32 people waiting to be attended to, mainly visiting visas, then student and a few PR, I think 8PRs!
So one by one, names were called.Femoo was called early and had to wait for me, it took a long time before mine came out ( fear begin catch me small :o but God no gree them).
Eventually around 3:45pm.....voila! My name was called and the rest they say is history.
Thanks be to God- it is for an appointed time, though it tarried, it shall not tarry, it shall surely come to pass.
Glory to God!
