HI

I am glad for this forum. I am also applying for the skilled worker I already downloaded the forms. I tried to contact some immigration consultants based in canada and the cheapest quote i got was for $2000 for them to assist me. However I am trying to do this by myself cos a friend in Canada advised me to apply by myself that I can do it. I already downloaded the application forms from the website and I am working on filling it. I have scheduled for my IELTS exam. my question is this, do they need police clearance and if yes, where do i go for Police clearance and what other little bits of information could help me. just to make sure i do it correctly.

hi everyone,

Its always good to read your mails.

congratulations everyone that got their PRs.

congratulations to all landed seniors esp madam tinu adebola, av bn following her, (wen is she going to land? smiles)waiting to read her mail. thank u all the previously landed seniors that helped the recently landed ones.u give us hope.

I joined this great forum sometime last yr, but unfortunately i had an accident and broke my thigh bone, sept last yr, had to do surgeries, had a second one in january but am grateful for a second chance at life even though i cant walk unaided, i use a walking stick.

I would like to ask about the morden manitoba nomination, whats d house's take on it esp the landed seniors?

Hi, Princessjo, you are welcome to this forum..........your friend is right, you do not need a consultant to have a successful application for your immigration to CANADA. Just follow the guidelines and instructions and I assure you, you will be home dry....! As per police certificate, you can get one from Alagbon police state (CID) close to the passport office and secretariate at Ikoyi. Just walk in and apply, but I dont think you will be needing it at this stage of your application.

All the best and welcome once again.....CHEERS
