My sincere appreciation to all those who have congratulated me and to the many people with one update or the other - PPR, PR Visas, the landed seniors, QSC and MR. The good Lord that has begun this process with us will perfect it for each and every one IJMN.

My posts may be once in awhile (due to job pressure) but you all are always on my mind and in my prayers.

To those preparing to land, may the good Lord grant you favour and grace every step of the way.

Hi people!

I use this opportunity to congratulate everyone that recently got PPR and other updates from AVO. This shall not be the end but the beginning of great news in this forum - (Amen).

If you've got your PPR, Canada is waiting for you o. The earlier u land the better as the land is full of opportunities. Come fast and settle fast; God will grant us all the required resources to land safely.

To all waiting members, your dream shall not be cut in Jesus name. It shall become reality soonest and you will definitely have the opportunity to come and discover Canada.

Bye for now...

BDX

BDX, how are u doing and family? Were u able to get ur phone back? I pray the Lord will grant you favor in Jesus name.

If that is the case, then do you may wish to do one of the two.

1. send your passports in for Visa, if you put to bed before landing, then you will need to add the baby, by sending in certain documents, and they will request for the earlier visas to be returned for cancellation and then reissue along with the baby's.

2. Write to tell them to hold on till you put to bed.

If I am in your shoe and time is of essence, I will opt for option one.

Cheers

A forum member(either pa awoderu or jackson) shared this(cant remembered the thread page) when many forum members/wives were pregnant n they were comtemplating on wheather to do medical or not:

He said his sister was heavily pregnant when the PPR came, the plan was to land b4 d baby was born unfortunately they were supposed to travel on mon n she put to bed over d wkend.when AVO was informed d VO said d case was closed(but in actual fact, cases are only closed after landing) that they should land without the baby n sponsor the baby later or forfeit their visas.the family decided to forfeit the visa and reapplied now they have landed under the new application.

Considering d above senerio n baring in mind that VOs are very powerful n they can do n undo;
My opinion is that u shld let them know u cant land before the baby is born.
AVO also know u might not be able to land thats y they want to hear from you n they might want to give the limited visa to those that may likely land immediately.
Just be truthful, prayerfull n let them hold on to the visa til u put to bed and add the baby. You wont be denied only a little delay

Congrats to all new PR holder, those who got their QSC

To those waiting; we re nearer the finishing line than when we started, keep hope alive!

Happy holiday

Hello Seniors,

After much internet search, I really need answer/s and examples to this. Do i need a transit visa if going from Lagos-Heathrow-Ottawa. OR Lagos- JFK- Ottawa.

THANKS.

Hello my Nigerian friends,

I'm from srilanka and pardon me for being in your space; I just want to clarify few facts , from you guys about OB442(pre - Feb. 2008 applicants) issue.
is there any body who was asked to do medicals & pay landing fees prior to march 29 2012 and still being effected by the OB442 ?
I'm just curious, the fact that quite number of applicants from Colombo have been unfairly penalized(our files have been suspended, officially informed) wonder is it same for the Nigerian nationals ?
Please share if you have any information.

Good luck to you all.
