Hello All,
I am one of the silent follower of this great forum. I got a request for passport on the 17th of October, 2012. But I am heavily pregnant and will be due by the end of November. The visa office in Accra asked me to advise them if I will not be able to travel before my due date so that they can tell me a list of documents I will need for the child, and that if I decide to go ahead I have to go and give birth in Canada. I am currently in the US with my husband. It is not very feasible for us to land within the next one month. I will appreciate your input and advice on this. Thanks

Born ya pikin for yankeee first, collect his yankee palli. then submit his form and await his MR / PPR for everybodi again. mean while please carry ACCRA along oo in all your decisions via writing.

rgds..

the pikin na lucky pikin with 2 powerful pallis + naija palli later

You are welcome here. The solution seems straight forward. What is the time limit you have to respond to the request sent to you? That will determine what u need to do next.

I have till the 6th of Nov to respond, but I am not going to wait till then. I probably need to respond by next week.

If that is the case, then do you may wish to do one of the two.

1. send your passports in for Visa, if you put to bed before landing, then you will need to add the baby, by sending in certain documents, and they will request for the earlier visas to be returned for cancellation and then reissue along with the baby's.

2. Write to tell them to hold on till you put to bed.

If I am in your shoe and time is of essence, I will opt for option one.

Cheers

Hi everyone. great job being done here in this forum. never seen nigerians so united believing in same course. this forum is highly informative. like to say kudos to the creator of this forum. to the seniors both landed and expectant, i salute. @ all i pray that your day of joy shall come to pass. all your expectation shall be met. AVO will not rest until all MR's and PPR's are released. i did my medical about 1oodays ago. expecting PPR as i join the forum .

Hi people!

I use this opportunity to congratulate everyone that recently got PPR and other updates from AVO. This shall not be the end but the beginning of great news in this forum - (Amen).

If you've got your PPR, Canada is waiting for you o. The earlier u land the better as the land is full of opportunities. Come fast and settle fast; God will grant us all the required resources to land safely.

To all waiting members, your dream shall not be cut in Jesus name. It shall become reality soonest and you will definitely have the opportunity to come and discover Canada.

Bye for now...
