2. How long can I wait to land in Canada after my Canada Immigration Visa is issued?

You must land in Canada before the expiry date, which appears on your Canada Immigration Visa. Usually, the expiry date is one year from the time medical examinations were completed. As this is not always the case, be sure to verify the expiry date as soon as you receive your Canada Immigration Visa.

I hope that answers your question

I am a 2004 applicant and have received my Medicals, very happy about it!!!

Finally after 8 years of wait and alhamdulilah everything has turned out Great!!

Now, small problem.....my wife's and son's details medical are all correct as per their passports!!

But my Medicals have a small error, where my surname only is spelled incorrectly, as a small change has occurred when my passport was recently renewed.

What should i do??? Should i just go to the Panel Physician and notify them and ask my lawyer to update LVO with my new passport details. Or???

Regards,

Otto

Congratulations on your MR. At least your application is not part of those back-loggers that will be returned back.

Hi dear,
The career edge website says they can only accept you on a paid internship if your credentials have been assessed and evaluated. There are several agencies involved in credential evaluation you can try WES, or that of University of Toronto. They require your school to send them your transcript they may accept some phocopy from you but the transcript has to be original signed and sealed from your university.

The photocopy accepted from me were proof of change of name and. Degree certificate. Cheers

@ Mommy Tinu thanks for the info .

Congrats Gabil on your MR, after this long wait of 8 years - I can only imagine the impact this would have created in you. Any way, God's time is always the BEST.

To my dear Seniors in this forum, any opportunity to help Gabil out of this minor issue in my mind.

Regards, Henry.

Please Madam Tinuade, has WES completed your evaluation and did they send you a copy? Did they evaluate your ICAN and other professional qualifications along with the university credentials? We are in the same profession and I am curious about their modus operandi. Thanks

My dear I only asked them to evaluate my BSc and Masters certificate, as per. ICAN, one need to get in tourch with one out of the three professional accounting bodies in Canada, they will also request for your degree transcript as well as that of ICAN exam so they would know what subjects to exempt you from.

You can contact CGA Alberta or Ontario depending on where you plan to land for further info.
