Good day Seniors :),

I recently discovered this forum and have been an avid reader since then. I would like to start using this medium to begin my networking ;D

Are intending applicants welcome for the meeting slated for the 23rd at Barcelos in Isaac John, GRA? Is there anything that would be required of us before we can attend. Thanks for your prompt responses.

Welcome on board Liss - feel free to attend with some bottles of "chairmanses' ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I truly appreciate everyone on this thread and our sister landed naija thread. You guyz are doing a wonderful job. Please lets keep up the good works as we all share a common dream of having a better future for ourselves and kids out there.

Please i like to know if there is any HRM professional in d house or anyone wanting to start a career in the field. If so, is there any certified body here in naija for HRM that is also recognised in canada? I like to get a certification in the field while waiting for the maple leaf. I would be going on study leave at my place of work by september and wanted to go for a masters degree program here in naija but my friend in canada says its waste of time as our degrees aint really recognised over there. So she suggested i do a certification instead.

Thanks for your time and responses. Na calgary we plan to land sha.

Put your money on internationally accepted certification instead of one Master degree from Omolorogbo University that you will not be proud to pronounce out there.

Please give us more details.......Did anything changed?

Just check my ecas now and observed that the line regarding eligibility completion has been removed leaving only the In process line. I guess some technical functions were carried out on the site. Sometime last week, I found it difficult to log in on a particular day. My address and every other detail is intact. hmmmmmmmmmmmmm! We keep our fingers crossed.

My people,

what can i say we waited, waited, waited and waited.............and finally it came. Got MR today. This journey started in April 2010 and today marked a significant step closer to the destination i give God all the praise.

My vote of thanks is very long but i would try and make it brief, i start by thanking Ma Ig who has make this thread possible for it has added so much value to the whole process, my fellow M1 applicant who kept urging me on even when it seems Accra would never answer, landed seniors with invaluable advise here and there, M2 and M3 applicant who have added new vibes to the thread and even our silent followers thanks to you all.

Cheers

Congratulations Madam Tinu and Omoelle. May God continue to be with you as you progress. This news is quite reassuring that Accra has not forgotten us. @ All MI 1 , do not be discouraged with the extended processing time. At the appointed time, God will be God in your situation. @ All MI 2 and 3, just hang on, i tell you, you are closer to it now than when it began.

I am happy for you. May the Almighty God perfect the remaining stages of the application.
