Divine favour and honour be unto everybody in this great forum.

I got this forum while searching on the internet and amazingly, the high level of providing solution to problem specific questions is unquantifiable. I am left with no doubt that everybody shall have his/her dream fulfilled sooner than ever imagine by the special grace of God.

I am a Pre-Juner, I submitted another POF in February, 2012; completed medical examinations with the members of my family on April 11,2012; sent RPRF and updated PCC to CHC Accra, also in April. Find my ecas status as at May 22,2010 till now;

1. We received your application for permanent residence on June 11, 2010
2. We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on October 27, 2010. Please consider delay in mail delivery before contacting us
3. Your application and supporting documents were received by the Accra office. They are pending review
4. Your application was reviewed and we started processing on April 3, 2012
5. Medical results have been received

My wife is pregnant and she is now at 31st week; I understand that most Airline Operators will not allow her to fly after 32 weeks. How do you think i can overcome the situation in case the visa is yet to be issued after 32 weeks and especially before child delivery?

Trusting on your professional suggestions

Hello,

I am planning to resubmit my application this July, and I need an advise on the best mode of payment

Does GTB bank issue bank draft in CAD? Has anyone used it in the past?

Thanks

Good morning @ everyone,

I would like to announce that Naija Pickin landed in Toronto on Sunday. I met with him on my way back home from work at his house yesterday. He asked me to pass the information to you all. He will narrate his experience in no time.

Thanks for being a worthy spokesman for him. At least you kept it simple and clear unlike someone I know who is busy defending reason why a leader could not say amen to a prayer of curse on corrupt leader.

Toronto is becoming full o. Will there still be space for new immigrants coming?

Cheers

You are welcome. You will need to check on all airline available to get what you need. But, may be I will rather say that wait till your hen lay the eggs before counting them.

I am about this IOM. I am not too comfortable with their means of payment (Money order or Credit card to New york). Such payments have no trace. I want papa Mufu to confirm if he truly purchased his ticket through IOM or any other person who did. I do not want to fall victim of 419 all because I want to save money.

They say it will cost 6000USD for 5 people.

I need input on this please.

Pa Awo, Congrat. Please go ahead and buy your ticket with your credit card thru the IOM, there is nothing to be afraid of. Otherwise I can offer to research a different means for you at no cost. Just tell me your destination and the probable date of departure.

just went to obtain a canadian GT bank draft myself on monday. they are about the only bank in naija that issues CAD bank draft. you would have to open a domicilliary account with them though and the charge is about $35 per draft for amounts less than C$1000

lukeke, i understand that, but when i click to open IN PROCESS, its only reads ;we recieved your Documents #### date.

@ Forsure, which MI do you belong to? If it's MI-1 have you tried contacting AVO, requesting for update on your application? If No, you may need to do so.

FYI, I found the forum member who initiated the following thread http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/in-process-t106481.0.html : just had only line status till recently. But, I see no harm in my earlier advice to request for status update from AVO.

All the best.

Hi ojooluseguno,

Most of the big banks in naija will issue you a CAD bank draft from a USD or CAD domicilliary account. You either have to own the domicilliary account or use that of someone who owns one. I used Access. I will suggest Access, GT or First Bank.

Hope other people contribute, I'm a banker though so my advice is professional :) Plan ahead cos it takes a few days. Cheers

Happy democracy day Nigeria.

To celebrate the day AVO just dropped eMR into my mail box! Can't explain how I feel but I give all thanks to God Almighty for making it a reality!!!!!

For other pre-juners awaiting same update of MR , using Tinuadebola and Fj6 as point of contacts, before the end of this week you will post your testimonies on this thread/forum IJN. Amen!

Congrats Lukeke

Ladies and gentlemen, good people of Nigeria, I want to testify to the goodness of Jesus in my life.

I just got my medical request about 10 minutes ago and I have been asked to pay for the ROPRF.
