Re: Re NIGERIA APPLICANT PLEASE LET US NETWORK.

@EMO,

Accra has requested that you pay in specific currency stating the amount in that currency, exchange rate is not applied as long as you pay the required amount.

EMO said:
Hey Right.
I agree, that if you pay in USD its lesser, and one can get from virtually all banks. But if the fluctuation is much as we are likely to see in days ahead, and the draft has not cleared by the time they are likely to change the rate in response to the fluctuation, what happens? You will pay the difference by going through the process again? If its avoidable, do the needful.

A brother cautioned me here when I thought I could have saved few greenback just like you mentioned.

Now wey them wan give us dis thing make we build a tight case for them. No excuse. GBAM. No loop hole GBAM

@ abehola; at dis stage, it's beta to follow one's heart. We've waited for so long and wldnt want further delay cos of few dollars. If CAD could be purchased at GTBank, then I think it's a good idea to go for it. I advised EMO to go for CAD as similar volatility we r experiencing now was d case in the last quarter of 2010 btw USD & CAD. My boss paid 455 USD (equivalent of 490 CAD) as advise by AVO for RPRF, but weeks later AVO sent her a mail requesting additional 25 USD.
You were lucky in your own case 'cos that was still weeks ago, it might not work for others at this period. This is just my own opinion, God will help us all. ;)

Interesting! I may have to follow suit since they also accept USD of same amount. You are right that it is actually easier to get a USD draft.

US DOLLAR/ CANADIAN DOLLAR

This is an issue that upset me at times. Checking through the Accra website, the options are either 490 US DOLLARS OR 490 CANADIAN DOLLARS. While would Accra asked for the difference if there is rate difference between the two. Suppose, the US DOLLAR become stronger than the CAD$ by 10 , would Accra refund the difference to us?

Any way, we all pray for safe landing.

Oga mi sir,
Save your protest till after your PR card is in your wallet. For now, give them what they ask for. Ordinarily the difference is close to nothing. so get the CAD $ and have a water tight case. GBAM

Hello,
Good day to everyone in the house. Please I want to apply for FSW by begining of next batch [assuming my profession remains among the ones in demand] and in between I and my husband intend to adopt a child. Assuming we go through all the legal process in Nigeria will we be able to add the child to our application? has anyone been able to do so? please any valuable input will be appreciated. Thanks and God bless.
please any inputs?

The adoption process is a very complex one. My brother went through the adoption process for a boy after getting his PR but was not successful. I will suggest you complete every paper work before putting in your application . It's a risky procedure but by God's grace you will scale through.
You could inbox me and i could share more info.
