I finally did my medicals at Abuja clinic today. We paid N4000.00 each for consultation = N20,000.00( FOR 5)
We later paid N29000.00 for all investigation including X-Ray. The sum of N10,270 was for courier.

I think it is cheaper in Abuja than Lagos. On the other hand, police report cost us N40,000.00 ( * 2) here in Kaduna while in Lagos it is pure water.

The PCC story is same outside Lagos. if you consider return ticket cost. or courier cost. then you can imagine. sometimes we are set up to be taken advantage of, seeing the despiration with which we approach the agencies. I may not be correct as regard some of us here but in most cases, if you consider the implication of having to be delayed and the multiplier effects. You simply allowed to be defrauded if I can freely use that language.

Actually he is about 2 years Old now. I had him the month I submitted my application to CIO in 2010. Sponsoring my eldest son in College has not been easy at all especially when the bills have to be footed with our Nigerian naira. You all know how the exchange rate is. His younger brother will be finishing high school this year and has refused to take JAMB. he insists he studys in Canada or he stays home so make Accra answer sharp sharp oh.
Madam Tinu, Challenge Oga make him too get busy. Accra is working, he should be working too oh.lol

@ pa awoderu, congratulations on the receipt of your medical.

I did mine as well at asaju, does the 28k include the courier fees? Pls how can one know if the medical as been received, will it reflect when one logs in to cic site.
I tried logging on last week and the last post was inprocess although we
Received mail for MR more than a month ago
My husband and I did our MR at different days, like a month apart due to
Some personal issues, I hope that won't be a problem?
Last question is, I am new on this forum and I can't see where to start a thread or areply peoples thread. Pls peeps can u give me a step by step guide on how to do that? Thanks and God bless.
NB we are pre-june 2010 fsw.

The money includes the courier cost. Ecas will only be updated when the Medical Results are received by the Visa Office. Call Asaju to confirm if they have sent the Results if you want to know. But i will suggest you just give it time at least 5- 6 weeks after doing the medical test. As regards you and your husband taking the examination at different time. It does not matter as long as it is within the time frame given. Give yours a bit more time, cos it might take come time to get the result of you and your husband together since it was not done at the same time.
