If you scrolled this thread backwards, you'll discovered that the issue has been dealt with before. It does not concern us. Some of us thought it will reduce our travelling to Accra when we first saw it. Alas, it was not. Too bad!!!!!!!!GBAM

Dear Naija,
I think we need to converge again for another meeting to discuss all important issues b4 it is 2 late. We may choose the same venue for the meeting. I appreciate all our efforts.

We will need to change our venue this time around. One can't be too sure where bombs are in Nigeria this days. We can't be too sure that we are not being monitored. so that the numbers of opposition in the foreign land will not grow. Gbam!!!

Babe Ig ,

Where u dey ke ?,

Sent u pm, text....... no response hope all is goooood

Feb is by the corner,

I feel the meeting should be March not February as nothing much has happened between the last meeting in Dec and now. I guess meeting once a quarter is not a bad idea. I also agree that the venue should be changed this time around remember that it is an office and Ig's Husband has done well be allowing us in severally i guess is time for us to come together, contribute money, get a hall and have our meeting.

My 2 cents other opinions are very much welcome.

elders over to u all to decide,

i know dat wit time that venue might not be appropriate or we will outgrow it

bt dont u think we should ask babe ig abt it or her opinion on whats is obtainable in this regard,

this shld be done outside this forum, maybe via fone or the yahoo grp b4 its thrown to the larger house here.

just my random thought ::)

I'll advise you worry less about acknowledgement. I didn't get any till tomorrow. The best you can do is to start preparing for your landing. All the best.

'... Mandie and the likes of Mandie who have gotten their PR...' Amen to that o!
I havent seen anyone sating they were specifically asked about their source of funds, they may contact the bank to verify, i think. And I don't think you need a covering note, that amount to feeling of 'guilt' or something. I believe your payslips should be included and also you could provide evidence (not a note) where this huge sums come from.

Hello forum members. Please I need some clarifications on the proof of funds. Is it true that Accra do contact the bank to confirm if the funds quoted are still present? If this is true, what happens if one has used part of the money for some other purposes hoping to replace later.Secondly, do they request for another statement of Account in all cases before issuing visa? Please I need response from the senior members so that I can plan adequately. Thanks in advance!

I read somewhere in the forum that verification is done at random.....you shouldnt worry if proof provided is genuine. About spending some of the funds, well it is permisible as long as you can still provide evidence when Accra asks for POF at a later date, cos they have done so in many ocassions.....Those in receipt of the visa will attest to this.
Good luck!

Thank you mandie, the proof is actually genuine but am only concerned because I've spent a large chunk of the money.I am hoping I should be able to replace it later.I hope that will be okay. Please at what point does Accra ask for this proof of fund?

You really don't have anything to worry about if your POF is genuine, we also used quite a sum of our POF but they later asked for a 1year bank statement along with our MR and we replaced the amount we took out and mailed to them. But some people were asked to provide POF as additional document request.

@ Gent2,
Thanks so much i appreciate.

Omobaba, I think you are the fastest Accra FSW1 applicant so far with 9 months of getting the visa. Hope Accrs doesn't make us go over the 1st anniversary of application file date. Good luck everyone waiting for good news.

He sounded like the one who applied b4 under MI2 and later reapply under MI3. That's pretty fast. Congrat. Looking forward to celebrating with more, cause you all will soon celebrate with me.

Cheers
