That was too expensive i paid N1,500 last year June both the 5k and 40k is too much
all the same you got wat u went for it should not be more than 2k max.

i eventually got police clearance from cid ikoyi for 5,000 - is this a rip off??? i think i was cheated. i got it within 2 hours, they refused to write me receipt...

Its not important whether its a rip off or not you have paid and you cant go back to collect your money.
Please guys lets watch what we put on this forum its a public place and we must not continue to rubbish our country here, yes they did not give you receipt thats how you want it, my family and i did in Abuja we paid official money , got receipt and came back after 3 days to collect it and not 2 hrs .

No offense meant but some of us still care much about the impression we are creating on the forum about Naija.

Pls all my seniors advice me on this matter.i received a mail from cic canada ,that my application was received on 27 oct 2011.they gave me a uci no and another number starting with E.................also they said i should use the numbers for future correspondence.and told me that any update in my application should be forwarded to cic but in canada.now my wahala is i checked ecas is not there. my people what do u think this information is about? does it signifies my PER?or what?

In-dan,dnt forget there is fuel subsidy removaL now...what was N1500 last year has now triplled, so I think N5000 was a good bargain...lol.

I suppose your application is still pending review. Did the email state anything about positive final determination?

My pple, pls lets endeavor to use our yahoo group for matters that are sensitive and can have a fallback on the image of our country. Many pple got their police cert without the experience chibiks had.

I beg anybody know how long person need to wait between update and MR? Pls dont give me the "waiting game" answer o. Give me an estimated time frame. I need it to make some decisions. Pa Seglad and others pls respond.

We mailed our additional documents in June and got MR in Sept. About 7 weeks.
