Yes it was the Visa Officer, so not sure why they reject the birth certificate from the hospital and what other way to go about it?

Perhaps you can visit the local government that covers the hospital in question. Really, I have not known hospital birth certificates to be acceptable for official purposes. In the case of my children, what we did at their times of birth was to register the hospital certificates at the local governments and they have never been rejected. You may give this a shot too, hopefully it will work.

I am a Nigerian applicant. Checking the application status, I discovered the message "We started processing your application on March 12, 2007". This is 2011 and no result yet. Please what do I do next. I need candid advice. Thank you.

Olu,

This is a waiting game........ mine is February 2008. I think it will be around 2014/2015 before it can reach us assuming nothing changes.

Anybody in the house with any contrary opinion/advise can help us out.

My fellow Pre-June, Another good news o. CIC has just released the latest processing time. Can U imagine that Accra (the great) is now 19 months ;D and pre-2008 is 90 months :o

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/skilled-fed.asp

I sincerely feel for the pre-2008 set because they are the worst hit with a minimum timeline of 7.5years! (90/12) But there is nothing with a begining without an end. God will keep us alive to see the goodies IJN.

I hope this capping of a thing will help decrease the timeline further.

it is neither for he that runth nor for he that willth but for the good lord that showth Mercy.

Thank you Jesus my Visa Debit Card has just been debited with USD1,580.92 which represent s an equivalent of 1,550 canadian dollars

This implies that UsDollars almost equal Canadian Dollars.

Thank you Jesus for making good your promises.

SUPA,
haba! try and temper justice with mercy now!! You have told him the hard truth.

Anyway, thats the truth but the most important thing is that you have applied. Just go about your life normally, it will surely come when you need it most.

Hello my people
I am completely new in the forum and I have some lingering issues that i will need your advice.
I am one of pre- june applicants, i submitted my application under FSW jan 2010, now that my application has enter backlog which i dont know when it will get to our turn in Nigeria. I later discover that I also qualify under QSW with 68 points as against 63pts 4 married person.
Can I still apply under QSW, I hope it will not implicate me, or is it possible to withdraw one application later.
please i need your advice

@Toks, it is legal for you to have two applications running they will notify you at the right time to withdraw one for them to proceed but since you are Pre-june and Jan 2010 for that matter!!!! you should be expecting medicals anytime soon because Accra takes average two years to process Pre-june going by my case and others in the forum.

You are fortunate that it was debited at a time when USD$ is going up in value courtesy of the crisis in Europe else ...

Olu,

If you do the calculation very well you'll be surprised that the numbers of months is going to be much much higher than that.

1. How many visas are allocated to Accra in a year?
2. How many of these visas are issued to pre-Feb 28, 2008 old school candidates.
3. We have about 14,000 (less than 15,000) of applicants in pre-Feb 28, 2008 that is still pending in Accra.

I don't have the statistics but I read on this forum that only 700 visas are allocated to Accra per year. So, even if the whole 700 is allocated to the pre Feb 28, 2008 candidates - do the calculations yourself and see when its likely to be your turn.

People who have any clue about this old school candidates should please advise us as I am very angry with myself as I am typing this post and analysing the situation.
