Have u looked at the checklist? original general IELTS, original experience letter, transcripts.....are a must. Pls look at the guide and the checklist...Mandie

Just joined the forum and planning to apply for 2012; hoping to learn from the experience of the elders

A bit opf background: Single, female, but will be married by year end. I work in financial services, plan to apply under NOC 1222.

My questions are:

1. How do I send in my application; dhl to Canada directly or do Ghana? :-[
2. In your wise opinion, which month is best to send it in (so it lands July 1?)

You are simply welcome.
DHL to CIO in NS is okay. it has track record.
Since it will take btw 3 to 5 days to reach CIO, it will be advisable you send it within these days. However, you can't be too sure that the NOC will be retained in the coming update.

You are welcome to the forum,you will surely get the much needed experience from the elders,but i don't think you can apply under NOC 1222 unless you have an offer of arranged employment,check the list of 29 listed occupations.cheers

As Moegbenga has already said, you cannot apply under NOC 1222 without job offer because its not on the 29 MI list.
Besides, you cannot tell if your occupation will be in the list of next year until the list is ACTUALLY released.
To be ready anyway, get your IELTS ready along with university transcript, PCC, etc before June 2012.

Congrats to those that have gotten thier MR, PPR and ugwu leave on thier passport.
In Order to include my baby on my application,I have gotten canadian money draft from gtbank , pls, enlighten me , do I need to write my daughters name at the back of the draft , or i shd just send it like that along with my updated form?

@ Seun, Congrats on your new born. Please, write the name of who ever is the principal applicant and the file number at the back of the draft and then write a letter to the VO explaining what the draft is meant for. I did same for my son.
