I send you warm greeting from mountain city of Calgary, a city where people work and eat. Every where you go , there are eateries
The cost of housing here can be high and low depending on the locations and the house type.Please beware of internet sites. I ran into two 419s here but thank God, stone don strong before sun come.(Let him that readest understand)
If you have a relative or friend, you may ask them to help you talk to landlord prior to your arrival. Rental agreement here are always from the first of every month. If you want to land, be wise

I have been able to strike a deal with one landlord here.It was not easy as I was disappointed by many agents and landlord. I need to start from A ----- so that I will be able to reach XY AND Z

PLease pray for me so that my job hunt will click soon. Calgary is beautiful. I love the city

Pa Jackson, thanks o. Dem no know say Naija no dey carry last. Even in the Olympics we carry our allowances.

It makes a whole lot of sense to plan landing towards month end to see one's accommodation by oneself for good reason. But if there is no place to stay in the immediate then plans can be made for expert judgement. The expert could landed seniors, relatives, friends e.t.c
