My application was received in Accra Dec. 28th 2011 according to my courier service.
5 months old today, i tried to ask for application status from Accra, this is all i could get from them.

Hi Lucasville. I'm a newbie on dis forum but... I'm wondering why u sent ur application to Accra in December 2011. All initial applications are sent to CIO in Canada.

Whatever u do, since the new caps will be opened in July, follow d news closely and get ready to throw in another application. Hope this helps

if i have a valid US visa I obtained from Nigeria, can I visit US for a conference after I have landed in canada before arrival of PR card. will I not need travel document, can i get one fast from US to return back to canada. Pls advise, i can wait for 40 days before going for the conference.

If you have a valid reason to leave Canada before your PR Card arrives, then it has to be a 'strong-enough' reason. if it is not strong enough, i will strongly advise you to wait for your PR Card. :-\ :-X :-\ :-X. If you leave Canada and CIC requires something from u, it may further delay the PR card issuance. However, if u MUST travel out of Canada, ur family could send the PR card to u by registered courier. If CIC requires u to provide any form of update for ur PR Card and u r already outside Canada, there is no need to panic ??? ??? ;D ;D. All u need to do is to go the a nearby CHC, explain the situation and apply for travel documents to fly back to Canada. ;D ;D ;D

I met MUFU and I know Pa Naija Pikin and I can say they are as different as light from day!!!!!

About 15:30 hours ago,i received an SMS from Elder Mufutua Ogedengbe that they have occupied their MISSISSAUGA TOWNHOUSE FULLY and he described it as 'my new house,i will soon call you with my Canadian number'. When asked what he ate for Breakfast he said' Horlics and Breadspread while my family members drank OAT AND OMELETTES'

Last saturday,his wife was quited pleased with the manner and how Mandie attends to all enquiries and urged her to continue with her goodworks. Finally,we got Mandie in her GHANIAN number but network was kinda epileptic.

i dare say you guys are making too much noise about this mufu issue. Many of us have met and spoken to him before so no big deal. Some of you described that he is loaded yes we all know that at least for those of us that know him before now. He told you he is in his house today in Toronto yes we also know about that.

It pays you guys to talk less about his landing cause the more information you divulge the more everyone put the piece together. I guess it is better for Mufu to remain unknown at least for those who dont know him so guys dont let the cat out of the bag too soon.

Before am crucified please please and please i am also his friend and do not intend to undermine him or any other in any way!!!!!!!
