DEAR FELLOW BACKLOGGERS (PRE FEB-2008)

To all my fellow backloggers (i.e. Pre Feb-2008 candidates);

I have read with interest the comment that the Pre Feb 2008 files may be deleted out of the queue and also read with interest the current three pilot program from CIC to reduce the backlog. Three provinces are said to be participating in this pilot program - Alberta, Ontario and Manitoba.

It looks like CIC will be the one that can only send out invitation letter to candidates to participate in this pilot program. It is claimed the letters will be sent out in February.

Please has any one of us receive such letter of invitation? Does anybody knows how the selection is done?

Please share if you happen to receive anything?

Thanks

supa

Hello Friends,
Please can someone help me advised me on the step i want to take.
I am a Nigerian leaving in Finland. I sent my full documents with application for FSW to CIO in Canada on 15th Feb 2012 and after three weeks that the reviewed my application the returned it back on 8th March 2012 telling me that my application was not eligible for further processing due to the reason that my past employer has not demonstrated well in the reference letter that I have full experience on the NOC 6241 "Chef" that I applied for by not telling them the duties and responsibilities that I performed during my working period with my past employer.
To this end, I have contacted my past employer in Nigeria through phone and explained to him about the issue and he promised to re-write the reference letter with the format that I got as directed by the CIO for the FSW application supporting documents on NOC experience.
Please i would like to resubmit my application back to CIO Canada for further review of my application once i get the refernce letter from my former employer from Nigeria,
I hope re-sending back my application to CIO would not cost me any harm or further suspicious from the FSW authority.
Please I need advice on this matter urgently based on the step that i want to take.
