Regards to all my wonderful people on this forum.
Please I want to seek your opinions on this: I am the principal applicant and I applied for the FSW with my maiden name because It is the name on my E-passport and all of my documents at that time. We did our medicals middle of last month, by GOD'S grace we are going to get our passport request soon and I will prefer the visa on my marriage name so am thinking of getting an E-passport in my New Name but am afraid of anymore delay or whatever.
I want to know if I should just present the old passport or get a new passport and inform VO on my new passport, please advise me.

The real issue should be if you will be able to get new passport while the one you have its still valid. Otherwise I think dealing with the VO after PPR is quite easy.
Only do a covering letter for it. Or at best defer everything till you get to Canada. Simply

I think a lot Garri is allowed BUT make sure that whatever food stuff you are carrying is in a transparent bag and is appropriately and visibly labelled.I have known dry fish to raise eye brows though

This is certainly one of the realities we must not gloss over. We all will have to start learning adaptation. I must warn you that it's a difficult core course in immigrant's life. You are leaving everything you use to be, behind and going head long into charting a new course. That includes your eating habit. I hope no offense? Take the prelim from the 13 to 15 Hrs flight delicacies that will served on board. And I can tell you if its Qatar Air, its like merrymaking till you land o. Safe Trip
