i had thought i would not rejoice if i eventually get my MR bcos i had expected it FOR SO LONG THAT I GAVE UP. BUT I WAS SUPRISED WHEN I SAW MYSELF JUMPING $ SHOUTING FOR JOY ;D Congrats! Do visit the clinic ASAP once you receive the hardcopy.

Nothing like ''runs'' or a ''midas touch'' for PR as all the info you need is online. If you dont qualify and your work is not on the list there is nothing that can be done.
The only thing my agents did was mail my package to Nova scotia and accra (secretarial work nothing else). I was the one that personally ensured that nothing is missed out on the checklist (off course with help with some members on this forum both landed and unlanded). To tell you how bad things are I was the one that followed up on accra before I got my second AOR. Many of these agents abroad do not know how to solve our localised issues and problems so they can not advise. The same website they use for assessment can be forwarded to you and you can find out if you qualify or not before you start the process

My people i must confess that today i really really wished the PR had come. When i heard of the bomb blast inside the force headquaters itself i was deeply troubled and really wished i had our PR so i could take off for a while but what can i do but to wait. Accra has to wake up on my case because i see some holy anger arising within me.

Abeg no vex. I know I ''slacked'' for a long time and have not been posting my views. To be frank the time the whole process was taking was beginning to get at me but the cheery news I have received from friends (on and off this forum) concerning their PR applications has given me strenght.
I will now channel my energy towards contributing the little I know and sharing my experiences on the forum.
You will be seeing my responses most especially to those that are new more often now.
