hello forum member,
I want to ask if anybody(prejune applicant) who sent their full document to Ghana arround august has had their ecas changed to "in process" or received medical request.

I need to know so that i will not lag behind, so that i can know if i am still on course.

I submitted full docs to accra in September and ecas changed to ''in process'' in early february. I am still waiting for MR to happen.

I do not think you are lagging behind

Am currently gathering docs against June. I intend to go to OAU to ask for my transcript tomorrow. How do I process that will ensure I get d original transcript myself? Please I need response fast.

@ All. Its a bit quiet in the past week. We look forward to news this week.Now that less application trickles into CIC. The VO will have enough space to clear the backlog. However, lets focus on the things we have running for us hear and keep planning and evaluating the winning strategy that makes use of both Canada and Nigeria's windows.

@BDLOT, Getting Transcript from OAU is something you must do yourself and earlier. Relying on anyone would certainly prolonged delay. You would have to dedicate a day or two depending on what you meet when you get there on the first day. I went down to ife on 2 different occassion before i could get mie. I even had to sleep over. When i got there on the first day i had to wait, when it eventually got to my turn, mine was typed when it was about to be printed there was a power outage. Unfortunaly, the school did not have generating sets. so i waited hoping for the power to be restored but was not. so i decided to wait till the next day and still the power was not restored. I then decided to leave ife, made sure i constantly kept calling the person in charge. Infact, i meet a guy who came down to Nigeria to get his. he said he had sent about 3 people to help him get it but all to no avail.

So expect anything and be prepared BDLOT. Sending someone over would not help you at all. Get down to the school yourself. Currently, OAU has been shutdown due to increment in acceptance fees.

Thanks Pa Awoderu, I would like to find out more about what I need to tell them @ OAU to make them give it to me by hand. Do I mention the purpose its needed for so that it would be addressed apppropriately? Would they allow me to collect by hand? If so, how should it be addressed?

All you need do is tell them purpose and tell them how you want it addressed. But you would have to pay for it. I have forgotten the amount i paid but it should not be more than 3000. Also, remember na naija we dey. You would have to do some tipping so as to expediate it. Once they are through they ll give it to you. All the issue of mailing does not apply in OAU even in Lag self where they say the only way to collect is by mailing i collected by hand. It is a method devised to extort money.
